Re: The Legend of Zelda
Yeah, the most annoying part about that is running out of arrows, but if you have an extra quiver or two, you won't even have to worry about that.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
I went in with ten arrows, I felt so dumb, but thankfully the enemy archers drop some.Though I ran out of arrows, an archer hit me, and link picked up the arrow, show him, got a bundle. Good times.
Also the lizalphos, I think that's their names, can't hit the guy you're escorting.

The bit with Ghirahim was cooler than the final part.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
I feel like the final battle would have been cooler if it had stayed as that serene kinda place instead of getting all stormy and cliche
Also it should have been more of a sword duel and less "Don't get punched to win"

Wow the second time you fight that jerk in the sealed grounds is toatally bullshit.
Why do I get knocked down a level even though I'm no where near him, or the edge, when he falls.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
When my brother started playing through SS I said, "Prepare to see the most punchable face in the world."
I loved the last battle because I accidentally fell upon the solution. "Uhh...I think I just received the power of Greyskull..."

It totes took place in

NOW THAT I HAVE SAID IT, IT MUST BE CANON.
BTW, I'm with the small crowd that counts the fights with Ghirahim and the fight with Demise together as the final battle. When you look at it that way, it's pretty freaking epic. And, by the way, I do really like the final battle. Using lightning to stun Demise and then using a finishing blow on him was FUCKING AWESOME.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
are you trying to imply that a bug that most people never knew about and is completely optional anyway somehow detracts from the fight

Re: The Legend of Zelda
It wasn't a bug at all. Nintendo puts stuff like that in most of the games.
You could reflect Agahnim's magic with the bug net. You could reflect Ganondorf's magic in OoT with a bottle. One of the items did something to Ganondorf in WW (can't remember off the top of my head). And the bug catching net works on Demise as a distraction too.
It's an easter egg.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Look, there has to be a reason those bottles are so damn rare. Magic is the explanation. And if someone brought out a bug net or fishing pole in a battle I'd keep an eye on it, too. That's damned suspicious.
