Well they're not made up, they're calculated. Also, they're pretty much always right.

Fi was never wrong. She was a useful ally, just not an endearing one.Kamak wrote:Usually with a 15% margin of error, you know, for healthy skepticism.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Funny, I found her endearing, but not useful. As far as usefulness goes, I just found her repeating information I already knew. Dowsing was really useful, though. I can't believe I forgot about that.
While she did get annoying, she did make me chuckle a few times, and the ending was really sweet. It almost made me tear up...the writing in this game is so good, they could make Nyeve likable if they wanted to.
To date, though, the only game to ever make me cry is Mother 3. Majora's Mask came pretty close, though.

Fi brought back enemy info and stuff.
So that's the best thing ever right there.

please stop that right now
Re: The Legend of Zelda
So I downloaded Link's Awakening from the eShop.
And all I have to say is, wtf Capcom. I mean, the game is good, but something makes me think they played a few minutes of a previous Legend of Zelda game and then just went with whatever they felt like.
At one point, to open a door, I had to throw a pot at it...
When has that ever been necessary?

Yeah, in Link's Awakening the Lvl 2 strength bracelet and the magic rod serve absolutely no purpose... It's kinda annoying tbh

Link's Awakening isn't a Capcom gameboq wrote:And all I have to say is, wtf Capcom.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
As far as I am aware, the only Capcom LoZ games were the oracle games and maybe Minish Cap

The Magic Rod had no purpose but to set things on fire.
Does it really need any more purpose than that?

WHERE IS THIS MERLIN I KEEP HEARING OF
What harm could come from imprisoning a hellinternet beast every night and making it hate humanity and what it stands for?
Then we can release it back into the wild.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Having a dungeon with an item that's only purpose is to do more damage is fucking lazy on their part

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Whoops! I was confused. The Oracle games feature graphics directly lifted from Awakening.Le Great Handsome Oppressor wrote:Link's Awakening isn't a Capcom gameboq wrote:And all I have to say is, wtf Capcom.
The Oracle games were developed by Capcom, so in my brain I associated Awakening with Capcom.

Infinite uses. Setting things on fire. Infinitely. Like a boss.
I fail to see your point of lazy. Im too busy enjoying everything being on fire.

Plus, if you want to get technical, it was the only way to melt ice blocks.
