WHERE IS THIS MERLIN I KEEP HEARING OF
What harm could come from imprisoning a hellinternet beast every night and making it hate humanity and what it stands for?
Then we can release it back into the wild.

Hey, those of you who got the 25th anniversary CD. what's that tune in the Wind Waker track at 6:04 and in the Main Theme track at 2:36
It sounds so familiar but I can't remember what it is.

I'm not sure for either of them. : /
I'm sad that the WW medley didn't have The Earth God's Lyric, or Wind God's Aria in it.
Those two are the best Zelda songs ever I don't give no fucks what anybody else says.

The Wind Waker track is Zelda's Awakening, track 89 on the Wind Waker OST.Boj wrote:Hey, those of you who got the 25th anniversary CD. what's that tune in the Wind Waker track at 6:04 and in the Main Theme track at 2:36

The Main Theme track is the title screen music from A Link to the Past. That tune was remixed for Wind Waker, when Daphnes reforms the Triforce of Wisdom and Tetra awakens as Zelda.
I can't believe how right you are. It feels really weird saying this, but even Eternal Darkness did that for me. Weird.Galaxy Man wrote:nintendo: concentrated i-feel-like-a-kid-again
Re: The Legend of Zelda
Well I'm about to beat Skyward Sword (like actually about to face the final boss), but I'm taking my time to go finish up some side quests/play those boss battle challenges. I dunno, though. I'm not really feeling it with this Zelda. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game and I love it, but it just can't make it to my top favorite. Frankly, it took me a long time to start liking that game, and it wasn't until I beat each land the first time did I finally start liking it. And that was 12 hours in.
I'm kinda a bit disappointed that Fi didn't have as big of a role as I hoped, though...shame really, considering her significance.
I'll go ahead and be the minority here and at the risk of being mugged I will confess I think of Twilight Princess as my favorite Zelda and consider it to be a bit underrated. Maybe I'm biased since that was my first Zelda game, not to mention I didn't really know about it until after it was released so I didn't wait the 2 year it was delayed for, but I really liked it better overall as compared to say, Wind Waker and even OoT. It just seemed more real to me with the characterization and I absolutely love Midna. But that's just me though. Skyward Sword has some great points, and I don't think the new direction they took were bad at all, it just took me far too long to start liking it which really hurt my view of it in the end.

How exactly do you go about flying at night? From what I keep hearing it's possible but I have yet to figure out how

If you sleep in Beedle's Shop or at the Lump Pumpkin you can access those two areas at night, but there's not much reason to except some sidequests

Re: The Legend of Zelda
This was one of my favorite moments from the game. The instant I heard the first few notes it took me right back to playing ALttP as a kid, and I got goosebumps.Sir Real wrote:The Main Theme track is the title screen music from A Link to the Past. Nintendo can bottle liquid nostalgia at this point.
Also, I'm really pop flyin' that there's going to be a Zelda concert in Austin in June. I'm going to be ordering tickets tomorrow (hopefully).

Also, I need to stop playing Fire Emblem and finish SS...I'm really close to the end.
