(stupid and unfunny)review, but I just figured out what it was. There's a part where a Zelda fanboy responds with terror and loathing to Yahtzee showing him Okami. Why would that draw that response from a Zelda fanboy? I mean, yes, there are
some people who, for reasons I will never understand, hate Okami with a burning passion, but I don't see what that has to do with loving The Legend of Zelda. Yes, I know that the discussion over Yahtzee's
crappy review is long over, but if he can beat a dead horse to a putrefied pulp, I can still beat one that's only mostly dead.
Satire.
You see, the thing about doing a satire is that you have to be intelligent and witty and/or funny. Most people go for the latter. While Yahtzee tries to incorporate both wit and humor into this review, he fails miserably at incorporating either one.

I think he's funny.
I also don't think it's satire; I think he genuinely doesn't like most of the games that he reviews.

I think he's funny.
So you know.
You could just be bad at humor.
Besides, his entire shtick is to rag on every tiny detail in games. That's what people go to see. If he was going to give a proper game review ever, It'd more than likely turn out a lot less negative. When he did review a game he actually liked, people got on his case for not being angry.
In other words come on what did you expect it's his whole fucking thing seriously.

So I think I'm at the endgame now
My desire to complete every sidequest is conflicting with my desire to save Zelda. What do I doooo.

Beat the game and then load the previous save.

My completionist urges don't work like that
I want to have everything BEFORE I finish the game

Do it right, and there won't be any.
That's some incentive for you.
Although, the first realm is the worst of them all. They only get easier.

This is the second review he ever did, of a game he actually liked. People liked him being rustled off more, so he doesn't reviews like that any more.

I did like some of his reviews; I loved his reviews of Amnesia and the No More Heroes games. I did actually find them pretty funny, and they were more than just comparing things to having his genitals tortured. And I'd like to take back what I said about him failing at being funny, because even though I thought his review was horrendously unfunny, I can respect the fact that some people thought it was funny. But I still say he's the guy you get when something's too good for even the guys at That Guy With the Glasses and Blistered Thumbs to bitch about. I dunno, I just like the occasional positive and/or intelligent review.
As for the people who haven't finished the game yet, here's my advice: conserve your stamina, get Lanayru's song second, keep an eye out for peahats, take Lanayru's boss challenge, keep plenty of upgraded heart potions, there are fireflies in Skyloft's cave, don't drink the water, dolphin jump out of water constantly, and whatever you do DO NOT BUY YOUR DAD SKYRIM. HE WILL NEVER LET YOU USE YOUR TV AGAIN.

I just beat Minish Cap. It was a great game, but it was a little short.
Now I'm just waiting for Legend of Groose: Skyward Pompadour.

Groose is hilarious. Painful to watch, but hilarious. I'm glad he actually goes through some character development, though.
I still can't get over the fact that Zelda has a
Tingle doll in her room.
