It just kind of adds more depth to the experience knowing the sequence of how everything "worked out".

The fact that there's a timeline where Link failed, insinuating that he died, blows my mind because that just opens doors for every game where he failed to stop Ganon/whomever to have alternate timelines split AGAIN.

Also I have a very easily addicting personality (I don't do drugs, promise... *sniff*) so I just want to know how everything fits together. I like puzzles.

I think it makes a lot of sense. :colbert:

I would have never guessed it, but whatever, I agree with it.

I'm still waiting for a game where you play as Ganon.
That needs to be a thing.

It would actually be kind of interesting if they made a game where the whole story is about two Links trying to destroy all these menacing Boss creatures around the area but each area is slightly different in weird ways as well as each Link having their own slightly different weapons/tools to beating each area's geographical differences. And in the end Ganon approaches each Link and tells his story of ending Zelda's family line in order to create a new prosperous world under his guidance. And this question is posed simultaneously but you're only controlling one of the Links at the time. And if you answer "Yes" to joining Ganon, that Link you control is given a slight power increase and turns into Shadow Link, but if you answer "No" Ganon backs off shaking his head saying how you could've helped him usher in a true era of peace.

And then boom! A rift in time opens up and one of two things happen:

IF YOU ANSWER YES: As Shadow Link, you witness a time rift open up behind Ganon. Ganon turns to see the other Link's Ganon fall out of it defeated and disintegrating. And then you see the other Link who said "No" step out as the final boss of the game. Obviously you win and defeat the alternate timeline "Hero" Link and the story ends with Shadow Link & Ganon sealing Zelda away while taking her Triforce piece. Ganon betrays you and robs you of your piece of the Triforce and banishes you into a realm of darkness. And then Ganon is left to rule with an iron fist and all three pieces of the Triforce.

IF YOU ANSWER NO: As Heroic Link, the same thing above happens except you have a Boss battle with the Ganon in front of you which leads to you basically stabbing him through the heart while he's channeling the rift in time to escape. Ganon is pulled off your sword and into the rift forcefully and again the same events as above happen with the other timeline's Shadow Link and Ganon seeing Heroic Link's Ganon fall and wither away. You step out of the rift looking like a badass and now with Ganon's piece of the Triforce in hand becoming Deity Link. Last Boss battle is against Shadow Link with Ganon hovering above. Ends with Heroic Link destroying Shadow Link and then focusing himself on Ganon in a cutscene and finishes him off. Story ends with Heroic Link seeing his timeline be cut off from him. And instead goes to Zelda to tell her what happened and Zelda accepts him as that timeline's Link while the other is left without a Link and Ganon and able to prosper without them and only Zelda's line to rule uninterrupted.

I think I went through SS too quickly. I beat the game in less than 24 hours. A did a bit of exploring though. I love Giraham's dance at the end.

I know what the next zelda games gonna be... Its gonna be a mmorpg where everyone gets to be link then you'll have people outside of game ranting why they can't all have the name Link and raging over the fact that there Link4924193129 and the fact you have to wait 4 hours for a ship to move to each new area.

I want the next Zelda game to be a dancing game, where all the Links and all the Ganons and Zelda and the everybody dance and have fun and talk to eachother and laugh at you for thinking there was a timeline.

lol. Why is everyone getting so grouchy over the fact that there could be a timeline to the games? Yeah, they're made just for us to enjoy and whatnot. But part of the reason they're so great is BECAUSE of the story and depth to it that they reveal and keep mysterious. The whole timeline business is just for added fun. It's no less horrible than everyone's Pokemon theories about Gary's Raticate dying or did we even go to the moon or was it staged? It just adds a bit more fun to it.

Theory? His Raticate did die, it did in the Manga at the same point.
