I heard about that one before I did it so I spoiled the surprise ._.

On the other hand I have Quru hunting down packed. Meed to start breaking it's bill though.

No, just the switch axe. I think you need to finish most of the 3* quests to unlock the sword.

EDIT: You need to finish the 3* urgent quest (Hunt a Gobul) then talk to the ship captain the next time he comes to the village.

Ive found the Royal Lud is actually easier in the water. Thats just me though.

I want this game. I only have Monster Hunter Freedom for the PSP, and I quit on the second 'level' where you reach the desert (fucking sand wyverns), but I really like it.

Which I could've had the pre-order version, because the bust of Rathalos looks great.
