I've tried building Lissandra every which way, and I think my favorite is DFG rush. Second favorite is RoA/Liandry's.

I find that even building straight AP (chalice/rabs/zhonya's, etc.) she still does great damage. Have yet to try building DoT.

They've moved a lot of his power out of his turrets and into his rockets and grenade, especially with the ult.
In my opinion his turrets are an afterthought now, they are so squishy that putting points in them just feels like a waste compared to the burst you get with the grenade rockets combo.

Ok, can someone help me get into this game? I don't get what the hell I'm doing in terms of builds and I always feel like I'm really daisies weak compared to my allies in bot games.

Edit:I played Dota 2 before this, so I know what I'm doing, I just don't know how to make good builds.

Well builds all depend on the champ you're playing.

It's important if you're looking up build guides and stuff to remember that you can't just copy paste. You have to think about what you need at that point in the game, what order to build stuff in, how much gold you have coming in, and different situational items that might be different from your core build. However it can still be useful to look at build guides if you need ideas for how items work with the champ.

Also, what level are you? If you're almost at (or at) 30 your allies might have stronger rune pages set up or even more efficient masteries, so think about learning about those too if you havent already.

I never liked a game with over-the-top bloody learning curves, I'm still amazed I could even get into Dota 2 despite quitting.

Do I NEED to learn all the heroes or can I just stick to one Hero, does the hero I pick affect my teammates chances of winning like in Dota 2?

You can play whoever you want, I know people who pretty much just play one champ. It's best if you learn one of every role, though, incase you don't fit well with your team. So you should have at least one for top (bruisers usually), mid (mages and assassins usually), bot (one AD carry, one support), and jungle, though jungle has a learning curve all its own so you might not wanna go into that just yet.

If you're just starting out the meta doesn't matter all that much and you can pretty much play whoever wherever, but the higher up you go the more people will insist (to put it nicely) that you stick to that meta. Ultimately it does make putting together a balanced team a lot easier.

I would suggest getting really comfortable with just a handful of champs, you don't have to know how to play them all. It's helpful to know how each one works, though that can happen just by seeing other people play them in game. If you really only like one champ right now, then play that champ, but have a backup or two in case you need something different.

Don't sweat the learning curve too much man. Try out stuff and see what works best for ya. Also, 3v3 Twisted Treeline and Dominion have less strict metas, so you might wanna give those a spin too, for something different. Also ARAMs are a fun way to learn some free week champs.

I'm thinking about quitting my quest for Gold and take a break from League until Season 4. It's just impossible to climb the ladder when we win one match then lose 3 and a normals too.

I love Singed but I have no idea what I'm ever going to do if I go up against a ranged champ as him.

It is just annoying when you get people who criticize every single mistake you make, making it seem like the game's loss is all on you. They have no faith in winning the game, so it is really hard.
