Folks on the forums have been blaming Comcast, but others say it's some "intermediate" servers between the main ones and the rest of us that's causing the throttling.

Do kinda wish that a Rioter would mention something about it, if only to confirm or deny that there's something going on outside our control.

Comcast is the main offender but it's been happening to others as well, just a lot less frequently.

As for Riot doing something about it, they are.

Oh yeah. That was announced when EU LCS was in Moscow. It's pretty ridiculous. Also all the players on the Russian server get it for free.

So apparently Twisted Fate is like, awesome? And I didn't know it? Because assuming I'm not just seeing mirages through all my immense lag I just did kind of well as him in a match. Through all my immense lag.

New favourite ADC/Melee build:

Philosopher's Stone
Kage's Lucky Pick
Avarace Blade

Boots of Swiftness (Alacrity or Furor)

With optional Shard of True Ice and Banner of Command if I feel sassy.

From there I can build high-tier recommended items quickly.

You know gp5s only pay for themselves after like 20 minutes, and AFTER that is when they start to turn a profit? You're better off just buying items with some real stats and using them to get kills or farm minions more effectively.

Unless your a champion who wants to farm until everyone is full build, its not really worth it to even get a single gp5 item unless you're a support.

I'm new to this. I have no idea what I'm doing.

The items give me some stats and haven't gotten me in trouble so far.

Just remember that AD carries build, well, AD.

Avarice blade can actually be a pretty good choice if you're farming a lot and not seeing much real fighting. It builds into Shiv too, which is nice.
