Does it fire at a single point as he moves? Or does it fire in a general direction?

It sounds like he shoot in one direction and you can move freely during the channel. Since the bullets damage the first thing hit I would think it beneficial to keep moving. It looks like he doesn't suffer any impaired movement while channeling so that could probably lead to some interesting strafes.

He sounds so fun omfg.
