I'm so used to squishy ranged DPS that I have trouble playing anything melee, especially tanks.

It's worth noting I've been playing almost nothing but ARAMs since Howling Abyss was released so that doesn't help any, but any advice would be appreciated, especially concerning ARAM

It's worth noting I have the most experience with Taric and Rammus (used to play him a bunch, not so much now)

it makes playing the game just so much fun

Because usually the dying part happens too quickly for me

Which is why I stick with Xin Zhao, you can build almost straight tank and still do tons of damage.
