I had a friend who would duo lane Fizz/Xin Zhao.

I duo lane Xin Zhao and Vi with my friend. It usually works pretty well, but we always seem to get countered by caitlyn and janna or stuff like that.

Alright. So, you know how Tryndamere has some form of CC and both him and Yi have a way to sustain themselves? Yeah, Fiora doesn't have any of that. She's a straight up AD carry who is also melee.

Started up the client today, "oh boy new champ revealed". Thought it was the GUN TEMPLAR, but instead it's a misshapen butterfly. So much disappointment, didn't even want to read his abilities.

Well she does have AD scaling abilities, the on-hit healing, the thing that blocks the next autoattack you take, and an ult that makes you untargetable for several seconds while still dealing massive damage.

The new champion actually looks really boring and has a stale design. He's probably going to turn into another tanky dps bruiser fighter derp derp. The only redeemable thing he has is his passive and it isn't exactly groundbreaking.

Wanted to try Jungle Evelynn, but nope! at least I didn't, they had a nidalee and I've never tried jungle while someone else jungles.

AD and lifesteal are items. Items you need gold for. If Fiora's opponents are smart, they'll shut her down at her weakest, her early game, denying her of any gold. Also, only her ult and Q scale with AD. The Q, her lunge, only scales 60% off AD anyway. Her riposte is garbage, scales with AP and the only reason people scale it is for the extra passive AD it gives.

Even if Fiora does get enough gold to carry her later into the game, she ends up in a paradox. Does she go straight AD, do damage and hope that lifesteal will be enough to keep her alive and that she won't get stunned and focused? Or does she go more for an AD bruiser build, becoming an a champion who doesn't do much of anything but autoattack for mediocre damage?

Most of what you said is common to most melee carries, but ok.

And I love how no one ever figures "oh hey, my ward disappeared early, they must have a vision ward somewhere."
