Recipe: Cloth Armor + Cloth Armor + Amplifying Tome + 125 gold = 1160 gold
+30 armor
+25 ability power
Unique passive: Kills grant 0.5 bonus armor and ability power. This bonus stacks up to 30 times.

And it builds into a Zhonya's, instead of that chain vest.

They changed the recipes for a lot of items too. They took the mana regen out of Fiendish Codex, which I am mildly miffed about since I have to actually build chalice now...

Also, I loled at this:

Combine cost reduced to 3 gold from 300 (total cost reduced to 3903 gold from 4200)

Yeah. They make health the best stat, and Warmogs is the best health item in the game, so of course a lot of people build it, and people complain about all the warmogs they are seeing, so riot nerfs it. Riot balance too stronk.

Minion kills do count towards those stacks, then? Starting to wonder if it'd be smarter to build Zhonya's after Rabadon's Deathcap instead of a Void Staff now.

it's really not that huge, its just casters needed a hexdrinker for their ad counterparts.

You're right; however, Zhonya's is a fairly useful tool for a squishy caster except that up until now you had to sacrifice offensive progression until you had enough gold for the full recipe. Kind of a no-no early game for a champ who revolves around long-range bursting.

Maybe I'll do a damage Leona night today, depending on time, mood and tiredness.

I've tried. The most damage you can output as Leona involves going sunfire cape, abyssal and every tank item in the game to stay in the fight as long as possible to let your sunfire do the work. AP sucks because the only ability in her kit with any decent scaling is her ult, and a bruiser build is barely halfway decent because she has an autoattack reset I guess?
