She really isn't, she's just difficult to play. Every time I play against a karma she dominates my whole team. She has good utility, good damage if building AP, and dat shield.

Don't know if it's been brought up before and apologies if so, but this whole blog.

She's not bad, she just has no place real place in the current meta. She is not as strong an ap mid as she could be, despite her good burst, she only has that available at the cost of her mantras, if she has no mantras, she has no burst OR heal, making her vulnerable, especially early game when the cooldown for them are straight up unreasonable.
And then there's supporting which can be difficult for her early because she is very item dependent, too item dependent to be a practical mainstream support, and again her cooldowns.
I've heard top lane she is actually a decent pick. She can get her farm, and doesn't have to blow her mantras on harassing and can save them for sustain, but I've yet to actually try it, I really should now with the season 3 changes.
A lot of the problems she has are getting fixed in the rework, whenever that ends up happening.

I really like taking Rylai's over Zhonya's because of the slow passive, and I also like to build her a little mixed instead of just straight AP. Her passive lifesteal along with massive spell vamp gives her pretty nice sustainability in my book.

Well you can only spellvamp with your abilities up, the zhonyas is kinda so you can burst one target, become invincible while you wait for your cooldowns to come back up, then burst down the next target. What else are you supposed to do with your abilities down, autoattack?

I'm with Ablu on this one. Get rid of the zephyr and pick up a zhonya's or a GA. Oh, and it's probably better to complete your gunblade ASAP.

I played my first game of League yesterday. This pretty much sums it up.

My First Game

I only played one game, and I've not touched it today. I'll probably try it again tomorrow.

tried Talon mid, very interesting, I would probably do a lot better had I the proper runes and masteries

Ziggs is so fun.

Definitely my next buy.

Heh, the Zephyr's was really just more of an experiment, since I was so far ahead.
