Bluh, this is why I don't pvp; it's so depressing

I mean it's one thing to be at the same skill and lose; at least I can get mad that I wasn't doing something right with my character, but when I'm just getting fuckstomped everywhere not knowing wtf I'm supposed to do, well, it's kinda saddening

Errybody was getting stomped, if you got caught out of position or just didn't move away fast enough from a skill shot while low you were dead. I was hiding behind minions and the turret and Sheila's arrow volley still managed to snipe me. Most of us didn't even know what was happening during team fights because of the close proximity and so many skills being used at the same time.

I just don't like the idea of letting my team down. Which, since everyone was 20+ but me, I most likely did. I felt helpless though, I didn't know what the fuck I was supposed to be doing when everyone else seemed to have it together at least somewhat. All in all I just felt like I was a hindrance to the game even when I was doing somewhat well because I was too afraid to ask all the big-leaguers how to play

Ask for specific advice and practice, practice, practice. You aren't going to be a wizard with 5 bot matches in your match history.

I know I'm not going to be the best ever at the beginning. It's the fact that I feel pressured to perform up to snuff with those around me or else I'm dragging them behind. It's not a personal skill issue, it's a psychosocial construct issue. If I don't perform well I feel like everyone's (at least secretly) judging me. I suppose at a deeper level it's like I feel like my friends won't want to play with me anymore when they find out how much of a horrible player I am so I get more upset than I should be when I fuck up.

Dude you're new, people know that so they'll want to help you get used to a character. Chin had not played Morde before so people on both sides were letting him know what to max, some items to get, etc. Just let people know, that's why we're all on Skype together.

It didn't sound like anyone could hear me at all. I said "The fuck do I do" or something equivalent at least twice. I didn't get any answer so I just kinda shut up the rest of the game.

Now that I'm sufficiently stable (reading pricks bash each other in LoL vs HoN debates is always amusing) I might hop on some more

You have to speak up and say who you are and who you're playing, because I was only familiar with half the people in that call and not everyone was even in it. If you need to, type in /all chat, we will definitely see that. ARAMs are good in the sense that you get a chance to PvP and you're forced to play champions you're unfamiliar with, so you should try some more with us.

Yeah, I'm in the mainpage now if you want to go some more. If not that's cool, too. Sorry for bringin the issue here; I just felt I needed to say something.

ARAMs with all people you know are fun, no-one cares who wins and who does bad, because no-one expects you to be a professional as a free week champ or whatever.

And I'm always up for a match if i'm online. But right now I am going to bed so can't play anymore. Just do some bot matches and try things out, also don't trust mobafire, go on lolpro.
