This is their punishment.
The punishment is for match fixing, not the ARAM as far as I can tell from this clusterfuck. The teams were idiots either way, if they violated any of the tournament rules MLG's hands were legally bound.

Yeah, they agreed to split the prize cheddar. So essentially it didn't matter who won and who lost the games. You can't really get mad at MLG and Riot to deny them the cheddar when collusion and fixing matches is against the rules.

How was it fixing the match? No one agreed to forfeit.

Some sources say they did, because one of them would have a greater benefit in the rankings.

It would have been better if they had decided to split the cheddar after it had been won and it was in their hands, but heck I wouldn't have known it was against the rules.

I want to like competitive gaming, I really do, but stuff like this is pretty harsh.

Competitions with prizes, especially big ones, are under some strict regulations. If you want to play with the big boys, you need to bring some professionalism to the table.

Honestly, and this goes for any competitive game not just video games, I'd probably watch a hell of a lot more if they didn't take themselves so seriously

That's not really an option. Maybe you misunderstood, I meant that they are required by law to run a tight ship.

Well you're playing for some serious cheddar, how do you think the people that lost felt after witnessing this? They tried hard to win only to lose and then watch the top 2 teams just screw around in the finale and say that they're going to split both prizes so it doesn't matter which of them wins. I'd be pretty rustled.

Did some serious number crunching, overhauled my masteries and rune page yet again, trying a little bit of different equip etc.

I still have a lot of testing to do, but it looks like I'll probably stick with offensive stuff for now. One thing which greatly annoys me, I tried using the exclusive item again, and it's just... it's just so bad, I really can't work it. I see other Rengars picking it and doing good with it, which makes me feel dumb as hell even though there is no need to. I wanted to give it another try, but it just does too little for needing too much.

I like the new Kat aswell, I'm definitely going to pick her up.

Looking at the patch notes, it's pretty laughable. Another Alistar nerf? Riot pls
And the Diana nerf is not going to hurt her at all, aswell as Corki's. They said he had his missiles up all the time so they increased the cooldown - and it's only 2 seconds WOW. Yeah lets make Evelynn EVEN stronger.

You have to remember that Riot does their balancing at a pro level. Alistar was still too strong and the Corki and Diana nerfs do hurt. For Diana, it's a lot of small nerfs across the board that eventually add up. As for Corki, the missile barrage nerf isn't the big thing. It's the CD nerf of valkyrie and the change to his passive. He no longer gains that 10% true damage for crits. That's a LOT of damage gone. It's a really hard nerf to his late game.

As for Eve, she was still shit at a pro level. Still, these buffs for her might wreak havoc for casual players who don't know how to counter her.
