He's pretty great, last hitting with his q is a breeze. Be aware that mid/late game he doesn't usually kill people as lock them all up in a teamfight so everyone else can kill them. Though for early/mid game the power your ult brings is terrifying.

one time I was playing Janna and I don't even know what I did but enemy Olaf told me to 1v1 him at baron. I jokingly said "okay" and he was missing from lane for like a minute

In one of my games, the Nocturne on their team challenged the Garen on my team to a 1v1 on top lane. I decided I'd join in because WHO THE FUCK CARES IT'S A TEAM-BASED GAME.
Long story short, I killed a Nocturne.
