I call bullshit on those guys too, by the way

It's mostly his disable which concerns me, because he fucked over our entire team with it on two occasions. Morgana and Tristana managed to slap his shit but nobody else could do much to him. I don't much like his Blight stacking thing either.

I suppose he'd be easy enough to counter with the right heroes, but he'll curbstomp anybody else.

Urgots are horrendously easy to play against as long as you know the artillery has a weighty cool down and the only solid dps he has is once he's locked onto you.

Brand's cooldowns are nasty and require a lot of mana. When he misses a fire pillar, start dashing in on his booty.

Can't say much for Varus, haven't played this week.

It's like we like all the same champions. I would rather have Reverse Annie though. It's so hilariously cute. And I can say "Have you seen my Human Annie?".

Varus's Q has a maximum range comparable to Xerath's Q and R. It's so far that you can hit champions outside of your own vision radius, which means it actually exceeds Urgot who can only hit champions at the very edge of his vision radius (but he can't be dodged, of course).

Also, there's nothing wrong with having superior range. There is simply no effective way to deal heavy DPS at a great distance. Urgot loses about 30-40% of his potential damage over time for hitting you with only Acid Hunters, Xerath and Varus have long range abilities with cooldowns that are simply not sustainable, suitable only for burst damage that could only threaten an already weakened opponent. Kog'Maw gets crippling mana issues for even thinking about spamming his ultimate that the blue buff won't solve in a timely fashion. I'd sooner complain about how nearly half of the champions in this game possess gap closers which invalidate all range advantages before even considering Flash. That's where the real Power Creep is coming into play here - you either have so much range that you can't be hit even by average skillshots, or some tanky DPS is all up in your grill stunning you and giving zero fucks about any slows you might have in your kit that should be keeping you safe.

You want to counter Varus, Urgot would do a fine job of it. He has more mobility, a slow, and much more potential to hit his mark at greater distances and for more consistent damage. One ability on a 16 second cooldown has nothing on Acid Hunter spam for every 6 out of 11 seconds before CDR. You'd have an answer to him regardless of whether he maxed his Q or W first.
Ignorance is not the same as innocence.

I did a match as Mundo with a Kayle. We laned with Varus and Leona. :colbert:

They kept hiding in the bush, and I would throw cleavers in there, but nothing would hit. Then not even a second later, they would attack me from the bush. :psyduck:

Then Leona would use her Zenith Blade on either me or Kayle, and Varus would shoot the attacked champ. It was sooo dumb.
Then our Shacko ganked like twice, and both times I had no idea he was doing so, so I couldn't help him.

Overall, I wasn't sure if Leona or Varus was more cheap.

Seems like they would make a pretty good team, actually.

Leaver level 3 haha hot daisies. Bought sejuani and boy is she fun. Her ganks are super strong. Too bad her late game is super fall off from her overpowered midgame. I would never play her in ranked if we had a mana mid, though.

Why does she fall off so hard, I see her less than like any other champ.

Best ARAM ever. :psyduck:

It was so long, and so even. We eventually lost cause we failed to go for a push near the end, so the enemy team pushed twice.

Just had the craziest match. Me Annie mid vs another Annie mid, she has frostfire skin I don't have a skin. First of all, Frostfire Annie is OP. You can't tell when she has her stun up with the color matchup, so I was constantly thinking I was safe when I wasn't.

Second, she had a jungler on her team, I didn't. So WW helped her get first blood on me. I was neck and neck with her for minion kills the whole time, but WW kept ganking and I couldn't do anything about it. The match went back and forth, our team getting all of the dragons and barons, and pushing when we could. Keep in mind the whole time we were behind up to 10 in kills.

We pushed all their inhibs, but we lost a teamfight in their base, and then they pushed our nexus. They got close to killing it, but we got them away. A little while later, WW walked up to the nexus and proceeded to wreck it, but we managed to get there in time to peel him off of it just in time. Annie and Olaf walked into our base with the intent to finish off the nexus while it was right about to die, so I stunned Annie and she melted instantly, but Olaf flashed right by us and hit the nexus once, finishing it.

Dang.
