What's the problem for doing bot matches for your first 15 levels while you learn the mechanics of the game? Half of the people I meet see that i'm level 25 with 40 wins and go "wow you've only won 40 matches and your level 25? noob" even though I just kicked their butt. I tell them I did bot matches for a while, and they just flat out insult bot matches and their place in the game.

I still do bot matches now, to learn new characters, or if I don't have enough time for or don't feel like doing PVP. It doesn't make me any worse of a player, it's just something I do.

The problem with bot games is that they stop being educational very quickly. Once you have the basics down, they'll stop teaching you anything until you pick up a new champion, and they'll never teach you enough about the champions you use in them to make you a master anyways.

What you did wasn't necessarily wrong, especially because playing normals at low levels can teach you a lot of really bad things that can be much harder to forget than learning new information would be, but as far as these people are concerned, you having a low number of wins at that levels means you either lose a vast majority of your games or you got those levels from bots without really learning much from the experience.

I simply cannot try a new character on PvP. It is a guaranteed slaughter.

Even if I can't get a full build going on a bot game, I just need SOMETHING to teach me how to use the spells correctly. And bot games are fun enough as long as I'm learning. I certainly don't care about my win count, as long as I'm having some fun.

I wonder if she will add us to her friends list and play with us.

In other news, does anyone have "pro" tips for Shen? I pretty much main him at this point, and I've got him down pretty good, I've saved my fair share of allies with my taunt and ult.

I pretty much want to know if there is a really good build for him, or if there are any off the wall awesome strategies like teleporting to an ally in a bush. I do him pure tank btw.

Also, in one match as him I was playing against a Karthus. I deprived him of quite a few kills with my ult, including once where both me and an ally were going to die to his ult, so I ulted the other ally who was going to die to save him, resulting in him only killing me.

I've decided, once the new champ rotation rolls around, I'm gonna buy Xin Zhao, even though I have enough IP for a 6300 champ. I've been dong too well with him to NOT buy him, plus I can build him a million different ways and I need some more versatile champs.
