Re: League of Legends
Yeah, I think a Thornmail is necessary against Nasus, it'll slap a good portion of his own damage in his face and also has some good armor. Maybe you want a Silversash too so you can escape when he casts his slow on you.

Add Ablu2 to your friends list when you finish. I'll do some matches with you if we both happen to be free at the same time.Sol Reaper wrote:Installing LoL now.

Re: League of Legends
Buy a Randuin's Omen. It gives you armor, health, and a 35% movement and attack speed slow as both an active and a triggered effect whenever someone hits you. Warden's Mail is only 1350 gold and it gives armor, health regen, and the same movement and attack speed slow.Cottarsby wrote:For future reference... how DO you counter him?
If that's still not enough, play a champion with a built in attack speed slow. Possible choices include Nunu (25%), Anivia (20%), Gragas (20-40%), Lee Sin (30-60%), Nasus (35-95%), and Malphite (30-50%). Gragas and Lee Sin both have escape skills to counteract Tryndamere's gap closer, Nasus can build full tank without losing significant amounts of damage, and Malphite has the highest potential to stack armor in the entire game, as well as damage scaling from armor.
You don't need to wait until level 6 to counter Tryndamere. You can shut him down as early as level 1 all by yourself so long as you play to counter him and don't allow him to farm. He can't even effectively heal himself without building up rage, so zoning works especially well unless you're playing a champion that he can easily kill.
Ignorance is not the same as innocence.

Re: League of Legends
So, anyone remember earlier when I mentioned me and my friend buying the Pentakill skins for Mordekaiser and Sona?
My brother tried Karthus out last night, and he did fairly well once he got going, and enjoyed playing him. So he is probably buying Karthus once he gets the IP, and I am attempting to convince him to get the Pentakill skin.
Is there anyone here who uses Yorick or Karthus? I am trying to put together a team comprised of all the Pentakill champs, so we can scare our foes into submission. If you use one of these champs, add me immediately and tell me. You don't have to buy the skin if you don't have the cheddar, just having all 5 of the band with a few people with the skins should be enough.
Also, any thoughts on the potential 5th Pentakill champ? An AD carry would make the team fit the meta, but as long as they aren't another AP champ, I'm fine with it. I've heard numerous suggestions on the official forums, including Olaf and Miss Fortune.

Re: League of Legends
Well apparently my school blocked the install prompt so now I'm really installing LoL. Any tips for a sort-of-first-timer?
And by sort of I mean I played and lost against bots in Rise of Immortals
