I downloaded a thing that lets LoL work on Mac and it works pretty good, played a few random bot games and havent noticed any issues

Anyone want to give me a beginners guide to runes and masteries, what champs to invest in, etc?

Anyone want to give me a beginners guide to runes and masteries, what champs to invest in, etc?

Armor penetration and magic penetration runes for reds, mana regen (per level or not) and armor (not per level) for yellows, ability power per level and magic resistance per level blues. Quintessences are too specific and too varied to have any semblance of a "general" suggestion, but you can't ever go wrong with movement speed or flat health.

These 8 runes should let you build generalized pages for AD carries, casters, tanks, and junglers. There are some champions who need more specialized rune sets, but I can guarantee that almost any champion in the game could benefit the most from at least one of the runes suggested here regardless of how specific their page is.

As for buying champions, just stay away from Evelynn, Karma, Karthus, Katarina, Poppy, and Trundle (because they're all weak where it really matters), and Shaco and LeBlanc (because nobody deserves to play against Shaco or LeBlanc).

A slap on the wrist and a punch to the face, respectively. I've voiced my opinion of Katarina here before and it's distaste at the worst, but my hatred of LeBlanc runs quite deep. She's a champion specifically designed to ruin someone else's game for no other benefit to her own. She isn't useful in teamfights, she's ineffective at farming, and her greatest contribution to the team is getting other people fed as a result of her ridiculously unfair ganks. Laning against her is a miserable experience, and every moment that I can spend making a LeBlanc player as unhappy as they've made the countless opponents before me is worth far more than a mere victory, no matter how well deserved it may have been.

I may be a good player, but skill is a surprisingly small factor when your opponent has a gap closing dash, an auto-target silence, and a slow which progresses into a root over a total of 4 seconds, any of which can be cast a second time to either become impossible to gank or shave off two thirds of your health on a 60 second cooldown. Retaliation isn't even possible because you'll be silenced and she can teleport back to her starting position before it even wears off.

I've never had a problem with another LB, and I've come across her for than a few times. Like you said, yes. Her laning and ganking is ridiculous but besides that, she's mediocre at best. I dunno. Maybe that's just me. But as long as I have fun playing her, I will. Same with Kat.
