Those rather seem like leaked patch notes, nothing of this is in-game yet.

Also, finally getting the hang of Fizz. He's just so satisfying, especially his ult.
My face when his ult
Also rushing in with Q and securing a kill and easily getting to safety with E

Ziggs has become my favourite AP caster, so easy to play. Crazy harass and those slow mines 8)

I also need to learn map awareness, to play without camera lock, proper item use without build guides, and how to jungle.

Yes. I don't play RTS' at ALL every time I try playing with it off I accidently make it go flying somewhere and fuck something up.

Buy a lot of cheap champs. I've been playing for over two years, and while I'm proficient in most roles I only own a little over half the champions in the game. Don't focus on getting those 6300 champs - not all of them are fantastic, and some cheap champs are pretty beastly. I'm actually going to be buying up every cheap champion I can now, too.

It's a personal rule of mine to never purchase a champion over 1350 without playing them during a free week first - and keep in mind, this is coming from someone who has every rune you could possibly make a generalized page with and enough pages to cover every single role in champion select with enough to spare for specifics like Urgot or Akali. I'd never have this much with the ~1000 games I've played (that's wins and losses) if I just bought every new champion that looked cool or sounded like they had interesting mechanics, and I certainly don't feel like I'm missing out.

Once you truly get this game down, one free week is all you need to master a champion. I'd even say a single day is enough, but optimized builds take longer to figure out than even the most complex mechanics.

Sure glad my childhood consisted of Warcraft originals and Age of Empires

I default to the camera being locked too, but I am getting into the habit of unlocking it for a moment if i'm going back to lane or something, to look at whats going on with my allies.

What exactly are the benefits of playing with the camera unlocked?

better control and vision, assuming your monitor isn't a fucking monster, your sight is pretty limited unless you're constantly looking at the minimap, there's only so much the little icons can tell you on what's going on. However, there are a few champs who I prefer to use locked on, even though I don't use him much, Karthus is one. I don't play him enough to know the range on his q? but I can estimate the ring around me when I'm dead center on the screen.

In other news, Ryze is quickly becoming one of my favorite champs.
Also rumors of a Heimer rework, if this is true, or even happening soon
oh lordy I'm gettin' the vapahs.

I'm pretty sure it's harder to move both your champ and the screen at the same time, if only just a little bit, and the vision is limited by fog of war anyway, so I don't see the point of that unless you're playing as someone with a really long ranged attack like Ashe's or Ziggs' ults.

Whatever works for you, man. It's pretty much all preference.
I'd imagine anyone who grew up with rts would gravitate to unlocked just because they are used to manually moving the screen with the mouse.

Guys, holding down the spacebar locks the camera on your champion for as long as you hold it down anyways. It's impossible to accidentally lose your position when you can just tap it and instantly focus back on your own character. If adapting to an unlocked camera is so difficult, just use the spacebar more often while you're getting the hang of it.

Some champions like Urgot are unplayable without it unlocked. Yeah, your maximum range is still the edge of your vision, but don't you want to actually see what you're hitting? Especially if it's in the fog of war, it's very important to know where your shots are landing so that you can predict where to fire the next one.
