I'll need to give healing a try if I return to WoW... Playing just caster DPS (mainly my Mage) for 5 years can get tedious. That's why I loved getting a chance to play my mother's Pally tank so much. Although given the fact I'd only been to one dungeon with him, it probably wasn't a good idea to have my second experience tanking in ICC 10. O_o
How do you guys heal anyway? Do you focus on grid or some other addon, or heal "El natural", without anything like grid or VuDoo? Healing is certainly different from anything else I've tried, but it sounds much more... Boring. Like whack a mole, except with more than one hammer to chose from. And if you chose the wrong one the machine detonates (actually, that sounds pretty interesting...).
Also Tatzel, if you found Forge of Souls tricky, wait until you see Halls of Reflection, the last instance in that set. The first encounter is AWFUL, but very satisfying to beat.

I love healing. I have a paladin tank, and I've tried dpsing on both of them, but healing is still where it's at, especialy priest healing. And true healing is like whack a mole, but I think it's better than, hurricane... blizzard.... lol auto shot.... there's more challenge in healing because you have so much to do. I don't use any addons to heal, unless X perl counts, but it doesn't really help healing, it just makes my screen perdy.
Also great healers = respect.

I heal on my pally, Tank healing is easier than raid healing, but theres a crapload more pressure, and you have to be able to react fast to big bursts, and you also have to conserve your mana for long fights. When I dps though, the only real thought I have to put in is when to use command and when to use vengeance. :\
