From the looks of things this expansion is going to be the first truly original lore since the MMO began. Rather than treading familiar ground it's all-new stories and figures, with maybe a few returners.

I now own 4 spirit beasts

I need more

Skoll, I'm coming for you

(Taming rare pets is probably my favourite part of being a hunter)

That was a fantastic cinematic. Wasn't nearly as "epic" as the previous ones, but it was good nonetheless. Made me want to roll a monk even more.

With so many games on backlog and GW2 soon, same with Borderlands 2, I need to resist resubbing...

I am looking forward to pretty much everything coming out in this expansion.
Been waiting for the return of pandarens since WC3.
New lore and completely new lands will be nice.
And as silly as the pet battles thing looks it will at least provide something a little worthwhile in between BGs and dungeons.
I'm not really looking forward to doing all the leveling stuff three times though... but that's what I get for trying to keep three characters at max.

We're gonna have problems, you and me.

I'm debating whether or not to wait a few days before playing MoP, just because each and every launch has been a giant clusterfuck both in the new race zones and new leveling zones.

It's especially fun to watch on a PvP realm because you never know how it'll turn out. BC I saw both factions working together and taking turns. Anyone who struck out was stripped of protection and subsequently destroyed. In Wrath it was a chaotic mess with red everywhere. In Cata, on Cho'gall US, Alliance did not exist for more than five seconds in the sea of Horde. Their blood elf paladins outnumbered the whole of the Alliance. Still do.

That's usually the smart move.
As for me this time I plan on diving right into this expansion headfirst.

I play on a fairly low-pop server so, though things will definitely be annoying, they certainly won't be unplayable.
