So, looks like They're making Firelands be 4.2 instead of next patch, which is good, because my guild is super behind, we just started BoT last week.

After playing this game for 6 years I feel that I have the right to comment on it. I say this because I wish they hadn't made these mistakes. I would still be playing otherwise.

Personally I read the patch notes to wean myself off the addiction. It was fun while it lasted, but it's just time for it to end.

I honestly dont see how you folks would call this a mistake.
Course games will change over the years as goals to who theyre trying to please will change, but to hold that many peoples interests for that long, Blizz has to be doing something right, satire aside from their incompetancy.
Ive seen some pretty stupid stuff coming out of admins mouths playing games, but Blizz seems to have alot less incompetancy than other games. Or maybe its just me, Im a late Wotlk baby, you folks are Blackrock quality. Maybe I dont see something you do.

I'm not saying anything's a mistake. I'm saying after seven years I'm bored and am moving on. But it's not easy to drop an addiction.

Soulstones to become battle rez
Our plan is still to let Soulstones be used on dead targets, effectively giving warlocks a combat resurrection as well. Unlike the death knight one, which was a relatively straight forward change, the warlock one requires new code. We still plan on making this change for 4.1, but we will keep you updated.
GUESS I GET A BR TOO

does that mean they're making it work like a battle rez, as in, instead of giving the target a buff that rezzes them when they die, it will just be something you cast on a dead person to rez them?

Yes.
Don't know if they will change it so that you can only have 1 battle rez total or 1 from each class (in which case you still have to bring one of each class). Right now though if 1 Druid uses a BR no one else can use it in the same combat period.
As Madican said I may have quit but I still like to see the patch notes. I sometimes want to play but don't feel like paying the cheddar also the changes they are making are just meh imo. The leveling was great, the harder dungeons/raids was great but it doesn't seem like anything is that new or inspired anymore. Their is little communication with the devs (at least for druids) and they just make changes without reasoning. Not to mention things that should have been caught in beta are just getting fixed now (tol barad for instance).
The heroics at first were really difficult (thats fine) and it was fun. I didn't like the 40 min queue time and then the 2-3 hours to complete one heroic though. If you don't have a guild group to run you through heroics it was very tedious and slow and annoying. The raid mechanics don't seem like anything too brand new (oh look ANOTHER council fight) or unique. The class homogenization in order to fit with blizz's new mantra of bring the player not the class is nice but at the same time I think they are overdoing it and stripping down everything into carbon copy DPS, Tank, Healer roles.
