The Alliance 40% community award is 4 seconds longer than the Horde one! DISCRIMINATION!!!

But yeh, the underdogs are always more popular. I prefer the story of the Horde, so I have no complaints. Except for the whole not playing any more thing.

welp, we've encountered a problem with wow.

it was working fine on this computer for several days. all of the sudden (not too long after the cata patch, actually) it started freezing up and crashing completely. it's gotten so bad we can't even play. we did a virus scan, we repaired wow, we uninstalled then reinstalled. it's still not working. i'm waiting for the patch to completely and utterly finish before i try playing again, but i doubt it'll work.

you guys have any ideas why it might be doing this?

This is a problem. Its ok for them to like the Horde more but when it starts affecting the amount of time/quality they put into their work it becomes unacceptable.

The problem is Thrall is gone. He is now a neutral NPC giver just like Tirion, he is no longer apart of or a hero of the Horde. The writers are trying to make the Horde be the underdog however at the same time be an unstoppable war machine. You can't be the underdog who never loses a battle. This is what they are in Cataclysm.

I am not doing this just to QQ, and like I said, I don't mind if the Alliance is losing the war or what not, I just love the Alliance too much to see it get the short end of the stick of this awesome new expansion. Things can at least be equal in terms of quality of what each faction received.

Dire Maul and Scholomance got their levels lowered. I'm okay with this.

The Speedbarge. I love it. I love it so. Except the lack of repair vendors and mailboxes. That sucks.

quoting because i still don't have any answers.
also, it didn't work.
we can't start it up without the entire computer crashing now.

it's probably a virus, but the virus scan came up with nothing.

You know that the Alliance received one less new class/race combo than the Horde did?

Also not much has changed for the Alliance questing zones. Most of the zones have the same old quests. Goldshire for example. You go from the new starting zone quests for the humans to Goldshire and bam you are killing Princess and helping that couple elope. Its like it was stuck in a time warp and no one there realized the Cataclysm happened. Same thing with the Forest Song area in Ashenvale. The Horde is now on their doorstep and they are all still building their houses or whatever and nothing has changed with them.

I don't know if you have seen Tirisfal Glades or Silverpine forest lately but they are completely redone and its amazing. So is Azshara. The horde got a lot more effort put into their quests and remakes than the Alliance did.

Not to mention the Worgen just have that tree in Darn while the Goblins have the slums AND Bilgewater Harbor which is awesome.

ima go on a limb and say, i really couldnt care less. i didnt like them adding dwarven shamans cause it makes no goddamn sense what so ever but for the sake of balance they had to.

have you been to the hinterlands on the horde side? they removed quests and readded them as the exact same ones, the same applies to some of the barrens as well. some shit wasnt changed much, some was, they already said some zones were going to be minimally changed

yes i have but you have horatio over in west fall, i think thats pretty fucking cool/hilarious imo

soooo worgen have a nice tree, whereas goblins live in flith and rummage whilst also having a harbor, i dont see your point. having a a nice diamond compared to someone who has a piece of shit and a diamond isnt saying much.

Only the patch has been released so far. There could still be a lot of changes on the disk itself. Until then I am going to withhold my judgement. Although I always like Gnomes and Night Elves. I could care less if they were Alliance or Horde. I just like them.
