The Shattering is amazing forever the end.

I'm glad I did the PTR so now I know my way around Org. Though man, I miss Dal portals so bad. Finding a mage for a portal is hard enough, then getting a portal for a reasonable-ish price isn't any better.

And I'll miss having a central pub. I could go to Org, then hearth, and go to UC or something without waiting for the zepp, which I am pretty good at missing.

I feel kind of bad for mages, too. 500 whispers of PORT PLZ already, this is going to make going into any major city a huge pain in the booty.

I wish female trolls had more facial expressions/hair choices. They have four hair styles and six facial expressions (and basically only one is good).

Females BEs, on the other hand, have 10 facial expressions and 14 hairstyles.

Yeaaaahhh...

Overall blizz kinda needs to update some of the old race models/animations. I mean, even comparing humans and drenei the difference in quality is realllllly noticeable.

Also river boats

1000 gold later, my rep with all the goblin factions is back up to neutral, although my rep with Bloodsail is back to hated.

I realized I had to get my rep back up ASAP when I landed in Gadgetzan for exploring some new Tanaris stuff and grabbing the new flight paths and found out that they moved the flightpath into the city. Also the guards are level 85 and quickly tore me a new one multiple times as I tried to exit.

If the rest of the zones are anything like new Hillsbrad, the new quests are amazing and surprisingly well-written.

I mean, one of my major complaints about WoW was that the writing was AWFUL, but it's like they got some writers that, uh, don't suck.

They are also a lot more interesting. Sure, in the end they all boil down to "kill this" or "collect that" or some combination of the two, but at least they have the decency to dress them up better this time.

Blizz favors Horde. Its blatantly obvious. You see Azshara lately? Huge Horde symbol. The Horde quests are all really good and goblins have representation in the world.

Alliance lost Southshore/Hillsbrad completely and Azshara went from a neutral zone to Horde only. Sure we took Southern Barrens but if you do the quests there we actually lose it, same with Andorhal in the WPL. So we are losing battles in quests which is demoralizing. Also the Horde took land in Ashenvale.

Alliance have pretty much lost on every front. Don't even get me started on the Worgen compared to the Goblins. After their initial starting zones goblins have lore and story throughout the whole game and presence there, the worgen completely drop off the face of the planet it seems, just like the Draenei. Not much huge story lore for them in the rest of the game. Blizz messed up with the Draenei by putting in a race and then dropping all support for them and then made the same mistake again with the Worgen. Meanwhile the Goblins are awesome and get a whole zone for them in Azshara and a nice little area in Org.

What do the Worgen get? Oh ya 1 tree that has a ground floor and thats it in Darnassus with some forlorn looking NPCs. Not to mention the faction leader for the Worgen isn't even in Darnassus, he is in Stormwind. The Worgen sorta just get thrown there too. The final quest has them leave the town and they come back and nothing is there and they are sent to Darnassus, no real explanation of what happened at all.

Meanwhile a lvl 20 or so Undead character can actually partake in the destruction of Gilneas and sees a cool little cut scene of them taking it. Worgen whos town it is see nothing and don't even have a proper end to their own story, they just get whisked away to Darnassus.

Tyrande has not had a model update unlike every other Faction leader as well. Plus the Goblin racials are awesome and they give the horde 2 cool new mounts while the Worgen racials are kinda boring and they have no mounts because they have that running wild ability which looks pretty awkward and unnatural and seems tacked on. What happened to the awesome Boars or whatever they had in concept art?

The Devs also show favoritism of the Horde at Blizzcon in their support for them compared to the Alliance. They messed up a major NPC which lead to the rise of the Red Shirt Guy and they said that Thrall will save Azeroth.

The only thing the Alliance has going for them is the political tension in the Horde and that Garrosh may very well tear it apart (of course this can never happen from a gameplay standpoint).

Lets not mention the guild mounts either. Horde get a brand new scorpion model mount and alliance get a reskinned cat/nightsaber.

Just a bad time to be the Alliance. Its not even the loss of land or the losing battles in quests, its a war and someone has to lose, its the other smaller things like with the Worgen and what not that really make me upset.
