It wasn't a patch, the gnomer/echo isles thing was included in 3.3.5, just not activated until after maintenance.

Probably gonna be the gnome starting quest in cata, or part of an upgraded gnomeregan instance.

Besides, it ends with Thermaplugg blowing the place up AGAIN, with a bomb 20(0?) times more powerful than the first. I doubt that place is gonna be habitable again until another quest or something
