I've heard that very often. I find it surprising.
I mean, it's not like the authors have anything good to work with.
I guess maybe they are just really good writers.

Warcraft has a great story.
It's just poorly represented in the MMO.

Actually, Warcraft has a wonderful and amazing lore. WoW just isn't the best representation of it.

I personally have read about 90% of the books, and they are fantastic. The ingame lore is all screwed up with the whole "this character is dead, but suddenly he is alive again" bull. And the game lore contradicts itself, the books usually come from the loremasters (the people who's job it is at blizzard to keep track of the lore) themselves.

yeah, gamelore is tricky cause they have to keep changing things for players and lands etc etc.

The Halo Books are fantastic as well.
I don't know it feels like the story telling is rushed in game.

I logged on to check on my heavy knothide leather auctions just a few minutes ago, and bodaciously right when I check the "auctions" tab, they all start selling to this one guy. I sold 280G worth of leather in less than a minute :'D
shut up having more than a thousand gold is a big deal to me right now
