How to Play WoW: A Guide

- Do not go AFK unnanounced and /follow the healer
- Do not pull a huge mob when the healer is >50% mana
- Do not DPS as a holy paladin
- Do not ninja random items and get mad when you get called on it

EDIT: The armory ain't too bad for posing, but it sucks at weapon glows. That is the most incredibly unflattering image of Thunderfury and Quel'Serrar I've ever seen.

Well, maybe if the tank and healer is all in blues. If you are wearing at least Naxx epics, I would be truly amazed if it was possible for a healer to go oom no matter how bad everybody plays.

I stand entirely corrected. Buff leveling tank threat. Buff leveling healer HPS.

Yeah. I may be a raid tank. I make heroics look like a joke. I used to look at Heroic Shattered Halls and Heroic Magister's Terrace, and laugh.

Then I tried to tank WC/BFD/RFK on a bear druid, and heal RFK/RFD/SM, with a restro shaman. Both were like punching myself in the face repeatedly. It's such a ridiculous exercise in futility. My bear didn't take even close to enough damage to generate enough rage to hold aggro. And my healer's mana ineffeciancy basically guaranteed I was drinking between every fight.

I learned to piss off everyone in my group on my Shaman by waiting until the last second to heal tank so I could use my more efficient large heals, and refusing to heal any DPSers with anything other than Healing Stream Totem. It's a stupid way to heal, but it's basically the only way to avoid going oom EVERY SINGLE PULL.

I actually spent a fair time DPSing on my restro shaman, purely so I could have things die faster so I could have to spend less time using my mana. There's something sad about beating people in DPS when I'm only auto-attacking mobs with a staff.
