With WoW, you can play all year 'round. That's assuming you're actually in the mood to play.
Compare that to how much you'd play with your rifle. As cool as it is, will you have more fun with it? Will the amount of time you use it be worth the cheddar compared to what you could do, who you could play with, how much fun you could have with WoW? Especially when Cataclysm likely to come out around fall?

I got burned out once I hit 80 :/Squigzog wrote:Once again I must point out that eventually you will feel what is called "burnout".
Although stop playing for five months and you will find it has gotten interesting again.
Unlike BC, WotLK is geared mostly, if not entirely on raids which I never had the time to do

Wait whatSouji Setodds wrote:HAHAHAHHAHAHA MAGES GET A TIME WARP SPELL IN CATACLYSM
I KNOW WHAT MY MACRO FOR THAT WILL BE
How will that even work
Edit: Okay, I just looked up what it does and I have to say that it is nothing like time warping in the slightest.
What a disappointment.

Well, with the advent of random heroics, you can easily gear up from doing those one after another. Each lasts about 10-20 minutes, maybe longer, maybe shorter, depending on your group.Kalekemo wrote:I got burned out once I hit 80 :/Squigzog wrote:Once again I must point out that eventually you will feel what is called "burnout".

Honestly, there has never been a point in WotLK where it should take more than a week to get geared for raiding, if you play like, 15 hours a week.
Also...
Time mages?

I'm not soulless. I have plenty of souls. They're just not mine.

*yawns* If I do come back to WoW when Cataclysm comes out, which I probably will... I wonder what I should do about my server?
I'm a bit weird cause I like to participate in too many different aspects of the game. Raiding, World PvP, BGs and RP.
And I know while I was enjoying VeCo, I was a close to bashing my head against the wall in WotLK due to the lack of any competent raiding guilds (Ranked 468 out of 504 servers worldwide, Bottom 7% of the world, GO VECO!)
Being in the only competent raiding guild, and watching them break up was so frustrating I quit the game. I liked that it was an RP-PvP server, where *gasp* both RP and PvP happened. But jesus christ the raiding was bad.
Blegh.
*shrug* Whatever. I'll figure out what I'll do when the time rolls around for Cataclysm.
*sings* Will she stay or will she go?
