Beep beep boop
Awesome. Yeah you totally should get a female follower I think the reason why everyone keeps beating martin up is that he's been following you for so long he forgot what a woman is. and y'know...hits on other people.

Well, that's one more quest down. At least it ended the best way a quest could possibly end.
With everyone except me dead.
I head back to the Anvil docks to get the Punch Misers.
Oh hey look a Mythic Dawn member.
...How are there so many of these guys.
The Mythic Dawn member turns out to be Isolde, whoever the hell she is.
I decide to go the Mage's Guild and see if they'll let be back in. Since I already killed almost every other member, I'm still safe from paperwork, so why not?
Yeah sure whatever.
I just want to use the spell-making and enchanting alter.
Oh hey I just so conveniently happen to have those.
I'll have to be very subtle if I want to kill another Mage's Guild member, I guess.
It turns out that I can tell a mage apprentice to follow me on my adventures.
Hey, apprentice, guess who gets to be the Punch Miser's token female?
You do! You get to be the token female!
Now, token females are never allowed to have interesting personalities, just like any other token, so you have to pick a stereotype. Have fun with that.
And now our team is even bigger!
...I wish Nameless was here. It's been a while since he's shown up. I wonder what's taking him so long? Normally he doesn't stay dead quite this much.
I decide to do another quest that found it's way into my quest log a long, long time ago. I feel I should get all of those out of the way.
Well, this is the house I'm apparently supposed to go to, let's see wha-... wait, where's Jauffre?
Jauffre what the hell are you doing?
Jauffre why are you trying to kill that civilian?
That is very silly.
Stop being silly.
He didn't stop being silly. Now this man is dead.
I'm so proud of him.
Soon all the Punch Misers start punching each other. AGAIN.
I really wish they'd try to kill each other a little bit less.
Seriously guys stop it you are leaving a bad first impression on our new member.
At least they aren't attacking her. Maybe they know that she's the only one in the group right now who's not incapable of dying. Or they are just gentlemen. Either one.
Anyway, the Punch Misers finish beating each other into a bloody pulp, and I enter the room that apparently smells funny or something.
I find a woman with a strange staff and several unaggressive scamps.
I'm surprised you aren't surprised about the 8 or so people that just barged into your house.
But yeah I guess scamps are pretty stupid. I could help... eliminate them.
...Wait, Daedric staff? Where does that come in?
If I were you, I would assume it was enchanted with something like "DRAIN 5 HEALTH PER SECOND" or something like that. Mostly because it is what I would have done.
Yeah that's great I'm listening.
Hey why are your eyebrows black if your hair is reddish-orange, anyway?
So you decided to discard the staff but you couldn't because you couldn't bring yourself to discard the staff you already decided that you would discard?
That doesn't make a lot of sense, but then again, most things don't.
Err, Mage's Guild? Well, I'll check, but chances are I already killed her. Sorry.
Oh, wait, nevermind, turns out she was one of the ones that couldn't die.
Yeah I guess.
Look just tell me how to fix it so I have one less thing cluttering up my quest log.
Yeah, it's pretty stupid too. Who would do something like-
...Did you just say Sheogorath?
Uh, yeah. Heheh, that Sheogorath who is not me at all. What a booty. It sure is great... not... being... him.
Wow, this "Sheogorath", who I do not know at all, certainly sounds like an unpleasant fellow. You don't need to worry, though, I am not him in any way, shape, or form.
Sounds simple enough. So, I just have to trick some idiot into taking it, then?
..."Darkfathom"? Wow, is it possible for a cave to have a more menacing sounding name?
Sounds easy enough. I'd better go tell... tell...
Why am I not surprised in the slightest that I have to be the one to do this?
Yeah okay fine whatever.
I am getting really daisies sick of caves, though.
Chances are it won't be as good as my current rings but fine I'll do it.
Oddly enough, the scamps don't seem to be following me. Huh. I guess the curse doesn't work when you're, well, Sheogorath.
Oh wait nevermind here they are.
You'd think being Sheogorath would give me immunity to this sort of thing. Or at least the power to make the curse go away.
Someday I would like to figure out who the hell it was who went around installing wooden doors on all these cave entrances.
I enter the cave and am immediately attacked by a Kremlin.
It turns out this place is infested with Daedra.
Apprentice immediately rips her shirt off and starts uselessly slashing at the Daedra with a tiny dagger.
It appears as though she has chosen the "only there for fanservice" token female stereotype.
What are all these Daedra even doing in a cave like this?
Don't they have to eat at all?
After a lot of fighting, I finally make it to the shrine. However, it is guarded by many Daedra.
There is a lot of fighting, but we manage to win.
However, we do not escape unscathed.
Looks like we lost Apprentice. What a shame.
I guess all of you out there demanding a female Punch Miser are just out of luck now.
See, her mistake was that she didn't seem to realize that she was capable of dying. Nameless generally lasts a while because he knows that he's mortal, so he stays back firing arrows at the enemy. However, rather than cast spells, Apprentice simply ran in slashing with a dagger, and was thus easily slain.
I then leave the staff at a shrine to... myself, I guess, and get out of there.
I do not care where the ring came from. I don't know why you think I would.
It isn't even a very good ring.
...Well, at least for anyone that doesn't use a sword and shield, I should say. And I don't use a sword or shield.
Someday I hope people start to realize that.

This is my signature because i am mostly a lurker, therefore i have no use for signatures.
Actually that's not the reason I'm not suing proletariats at all.Aranai wrote:Yeah, but he's explicitly not using proletariats for the purposes of not confusing anyone unfamiliar with them.
If I didn't want to confuse people I wouldn't have created a shitload of clones in Bruma and have them go on a rampage.
I'm not using them because this is an LP of vanilla Oblivion. Installing proletariats would essentially be LP-ing a different game. The point of this LP is the explore and make fun only the true Oblivion, even with all of its faults and flaws.
Also I am more than ready to be done with this LP and installing proletariats would just mean more stuff that I need to do before I finish.
