Only thing I do is look at the news section and the character section there, so hearing that site seems to be not really liked because of their fanfictions is new to me. Ignorance is bliss I guess, and sorry if I offended anyone.

Karilyn always finds the worst ways to make me laugh.
I'm not even sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

So Phoenix Wright is not only set in the future, but in some kind of special court system where there is no jury and the judge makes all the decisions, yes?

I was playing Trials and Tribulations the other day and was at the part where you trick Furio Tigre into admitting he knew what the bottle with the poison in it looked like. Tuxedo Mask (who was in the criminal justice course) scoffed and said "THAT WOULD BE THROWN OUT!" I shrugged and said "I'm not even sure how this court works since there is no jury and apparently the lawyers get to keep evidence secret." but he doesn't really like trying to understand how the court works anymore and encourages me to try to get guilty verdicts. XD;

They're allowed to keep whatever they like and when it becomes relevant in the middle of the court case it has to be presented to the court

They explained this somewhere in one of the games

Part of it can be justified in "Let the game be fun"

I mean hell, I could point out a laundry list of medical inaccuracies in the Trauma Center games.

Neither game is supposed to be accurate to real life.

On another note?

Court cases are limited to 3 days, and at the end of the third day, a verdict MUST be decided.

Well, don't even get me started on GUILT. Gangliated Utrophin Immuno Latency Toxin? No. Just no. It's a parasite. Parasite just sounds less cool, so they came up with a fancy name for it.

Also. Dear god, the Kyriaki... That stuff is nightmare fuel if you actually try to think of it in real life terms.

A small stingray like parasite, with a blade on it's tail, that cuts into your heart, your lungs, your liver... slicing neatly and quickly your insides. All the while, secreting a chemical which makes you wildly depressed and suicidal, in an attempt to cover the physical pain it's causing, by making you assume it's just the utter aching pain of emotional hurt.

DEAR GOD THAT IS THE STUFF NIGHTMARES ARE MADE OF!
