He's funny but I feel you can't watch it as a reviewer more like a comedian.

So a game called Rapelay was released quite some time ago, and has recently gone viral amongst petitions to get it banned. There is an article on it on the CNN Website.

The just of the game is that you, and eventually some friends, stalk, torment, grope and rape a series of women and older girls (I think a mother and daughter is involved at one point). It is extremely graphic and disturbing, and pretty sexist in a lot of ways too. Pretty is a bit of an understatement actually. Very sexist is probably more accurate.

A lot of debate over MY GOD-GIVEN RIGHT TO SAY WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT AND DISREGARD ALL CONSEQUENCES TO WHAT I SAY has been sparked by the game, people arguing that if it's virtual characters that are being harmed, the real life damage done is insubstantial, whilst others claim that the nomralization and depiction of this sort of stuff, in any context, can act as encouragement or even just a catalyst for real people to be hurt. Personally, I stand with the latter category. I was wondering if any of you had heard anything of this, or felt like sharing any opinions/shedding any light on the situation. Between games like this and Dead or Alive: Paradise, more games are becoming pretty disgusting in their content, specifically their depiction of women and, in some cases, men.

I've heard about it before.

In the game you can force pregnant women to have abortions.
And apparently they start to enjoy being raped.
What the hell, man.

This was covered in taboo topics, iirc. But. I think that is possibly the most utterly disgusting game in existence, but they have every right to make and produce it. When it comes down to it, they're just pixels. If there's a correlation between violent crimes going up from playing this game, there's a big issue, but until then, the company can make that game and people should be able to buy it.

My issue with this is it and titles like it have been on the market selling for years. The media has just now taken notice of it.
