I got the Edgeworth game.

Oh that's out now? Dangit I have too many games to buy, more battlefield, lfd2, and metro 2033. I have not enough cheddar for that. Now they're gonna throw Stalingrad RS at me. balhBurntToShreds wrote:Playing Metro 2033. Pretty crazy and scary. Cool stealth elements, like using throwing knives as silent weapons, and watching out for where you step so you don't set off tripwires, crunch broken glass, etc.
Then there's the currency system. High-power military grade ammo is basically what you use to pay for stuff. You can shoot it at enemies for extreme damage, but you're shooting away your wallet.
There is also no HUD. At all. It adds to the fear factor by alot.
Thats what I don't like. I like bae buildings and huge armies rather than "one base, tactical use of small squads" style gameplay. Its why I liked DoW better than DoWII. C&C4 seemed to try and mash them together.Plasma wrote:C&C4 is, more or less, trying to capitalise on DoW2's very different way of doing RTSes... but fails horribly. Because it completely glosses over what makes the DoW2 system work, and tries to incorporate old-style mass armies into it. The entire point of the way DoW2 works is that there's a much greater focus on individual units, and getting into strategic positions, and a lot less simple attack-this-target play that regular RTSes have.
That, and the fact that the DoW2 system was NOT suited for having army construction in its singleplayer mode. Long story short: it's meant for evenly balanced teams, with smart commanders, and not regular "They have a giant army, but they'll only attack lightly" play. Hence why DoW2's campaign simply didn't have buildings, and unit leaders can just be revived GearsOfWar style.

This. As long as it isn't 100% story driven, it sounds like a good idea to me.Miss StarSeed wrote:The story doesn't really make any sense and the ending is kind of dumb but the gameplay itself would probably be fun for an LP if you just did goofy shit.
I pretty much stole from army bases whenever I could. Slowly picking off soldiers one by one and devouring them so you can pose as one of them is the best thing ever.
Just played through co-op with my friend. oh, nostalgia. I missed the Falcon 2 D:Leoj wrote:Perfect Dark came out for XBLA, its awesome.
id say go for infamous. its got a good story and you can let ppl choose to be dicks or good guysDecker wrote:Oh well I wouldn't really know what to do, it's like GTA4. The side missions aren't actually missions, it's just do-this-fast. It's entertaining for the player, not so much for the guy sat next to him
I'unno, Tuxedo Mask enjoyed watching me horribly slaughter people with my various monsterous appendages.Decker wrote:It's entertaining for the player, not so much for the guy sat next to him
