I want to play Mass Effect 2 so badly I could scream. I had been waiting for that game to come out for ages, and when it finally does, i'm flat broke. I guess I'm going to have to continue to hold myself over with other RPGs like Dragon Age and Oblivion.

I played the Just Cause 2 demo earlier. It's great, but the timer's pretty annoying. There's ways to get rid of it, though. Here's one:
/v/ wrote:1) Start Just Cause 2, trigger the timer by jumping off the platform. Open the PDA by pressing F1 and check what the timer says. Memorize it, or write it down.

2) Alt-tab out and start CheatEngine. In CheatEngine, browse the processes and select JustCause2.exe. Choose 'Unknown initial value' from the 'Scan type' drop-down list, '4 Bytes', and hit the 'First Scan' button.

3) Go in-game again, un-pause and let some time go by.

4) Again, open the PDA and check how many seconds have gone by. Alt-tab back to CheatEngine and search for a new value, this time a 'Value increased by...' (or, as listed by the program, 'Increased value by...'), and enter the appropriate value (the time in seconds that passed) in the 'Value:' box. Hit 'Next Scan'.

5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you find the correct value, usually an address starting with '1A5'.

6) When found, double-click it to add it to the box below. Freeze it and play for as long as you want.
You can get Cheat Engine here.

Also, attaching yourself to a gas canister with the grappling hook, then shooting it and using it to fly is amazing.

Ace Attorney: Investigations is weird.

I'm already well into Case 3 - but I haven't even stepped into a courtroom yet.

Just seems odd is all.

Do you have the proletariats already installed?
Because I don't know about Oblivion, but with a lot of games you have to have played the vanilla game at least once before modding them, else they won't work correctly.

Relax

You can just go to program Files and un-check the proletariats and you'll be playing the Vanilla version.

Then the next time you load the game just check the boxes again.

It's the 1.2 update.

Don't complain because you need it to run most proletariats anyway.

Also: Question.

Did you get the Shivering Isles expansion too? Because there are a good deal of proletariats that require textures from that to work.

While we're on the topic of Oblivion, I just finished the mission "Whodunit?". It's one of my favorites in the whole game. I got Nels to fuck Primo's world up.

Are we really arguing over the realism in a Phoenix Wright game?

I'm just pointing out the flaws in their logic.

Sweet.

I don't have Shivering Isles so there are a bunch of proletariats I can't do.

he's an ace attorney. who investigates. it doesn't matter if he supposed to spend most of his in court, and the game's title does state that it is a game about investigations, hence the colon and "investigations".

also, attorney's spend a lot more time with paperwork than being in court
