I'm pretty sure the Wii has a region lock and I'm not about to hack mine, so no uncensored version for me either.
Oh well. A problem shared is a problem halved, right?

So I (may be) prepurchasing Chaos Rising on steam; which as some of you may already know comes with a free Saints Row 2.

I already have one.

So I have Gamefly. I rented Halo Wars, and it was fun.

Anyone have any games that they would like to suggest I rent?

I'm open to try any game really, so don't go "its all a matter of your tastes, don't ask us". I'm asking you.

I own (borrowing from my brothers friend with no intention to give it back) Left 4 Dead. Although, I really need to play the full version of L4D2.

How and why exactly is NMH censored?

From what I read, there's no blood; enemies just explode into black pixels or ash or whatever.
Apparently the only version with blood is the American one. Even the Japanese one is censored.
The reason is that NMH was supposed to include tons of gore and Manhunt 2 levels of violence (according to Kotaku, which was one of the first Google results).
I guess you can mostly blame Germany for the European version being censored, though.

It's not hard to unlock your Wii region-wise. All you need is an SD card.

Just install the Homebrew channel and run Gecko, it'll load your games outside of the Disc Channel, defeating the region lock.

Yeah, but I have the 4.2 update installed, so that might just break my Wii.
No thanks.

Yeah, I'm still definitely gonna buy it. The ash doesn't really bug me, it's just that I try to buy the uncensored versions of games on principle.

In other news, Foo gifted me Saints Row 2 because he's awesome.
Now we're Cobrahs. Or will be soon.

Hey guys, I need your help here. There is this old SNES game I remembered, but I can't remember the name for the sake of it.
All I can remember from it is, that you play in a japanese mythology setting, you beeing a priestess and a racoon beeing your partner.
I have some sprites from the game since I knew a flash where they are featured, but the author doesn't mention at all which game they are from

If anyone remembers that game, I would be really gratefull!
