The name throws it off, but Garry's Mod is a standalone "game". But yeah, it does sound silly.

You Bought Modern Warfare 2... despite that you completely and utterly hate the game... why?

Good lord, did you even
read my post?
Ah, right.
Sorry, I was just a little confused. Because here in Ireland, game shops do actually sell more than one game!

One $59.99 purchase was enough to drain all of the value from the gift cards and cover the sales tax. Now stop being a booty.

I'm not trying to be a booty, I'm honestly confused as to why on earth you spent the cheddar on a game you didn't like instead of spending it on a game(s) that you do?

Yeah, I'm kind of confused too. Wasting cheddar on a game you don't like... I don't comprehend.

The only PC games that I'd even consider had already been sold out for the day, and I don't get out of the house very often. Besides, most, if not all of the PC games I'd ever want are ones I already have. As for the Wii, let's just say spending cheddar on games for it hasn't been a worry of mine for quite a while.

Couldn't you have used the gift cards to get some T-shirts, plushies, or other video game memorabilia?

I'd rather not have to carry a bunch of shit out of a store if my only intention is getting rid of $65 worth of gift cards as expediently as possible. Now, can we please stop dwelling on my exceptionally poor spending habits and move on to something else?

you can always save it for later when a game you like comes out
like say for instance, darksiders.

I've never even played the
God of War series, and I can't, now that my PS2 is dead.
Also, I have decided that I am going to buy any and all PC games I want through Steam from here on out. There's no sales tax on any of it, and it's much faster. Hence why I wanted to get rid of the gift cards.
Now, let's just let this line of conversation die.
