Re: General Game Gabbin'
I kind of want to buy Neverwinter Nights 2 but it's $20 and it's eight years old.
Re: General Game Gabbin'
I've got NWN2 from the Steam summer sale. Haven't tried it yet now that I've got a new video card, but it's on my list.
Stuff goes here later.
Re: General Game Gabbin'
Anyone know any good freeware horror/NOPE games that aren't Yume Nikki or it's hoard of fangames?

Re: General Game Gabbin'
In Recettear I'm now Merchant level 6 and may change my wallpaper. But how can I do that?

Behind the counter.
It should be one of the options when you're starting up the shop.

At first, I was a bit disappointed, but I really could see the signs when I kept hearing that he was taking a bit more of a hands-off approach to the recent games, just giving them nudges when they needed them, but leaving them to their own devices. After playing 3D Land and Skyward Sword, I can say that I feel the teams are going to do perfectly fine without him holding their hands anymore. He's given them the tools and knowledge of how to craft excellent games without compromising the image and feel of the game, and I can't wait to see what comes of his pet projects.Le Great Handsome Oppressor wrote:Miyamoto is retiring from working on AAA titles and is gonna work on smaller games.

I can honestly see this as a very good thing.Le Great Handsome Oppressor wrote:Miyamoto is retiring from working on AAA titles and is gonna work on smaller games.
Miyamoto is brilliant when it comes to game design, but he's also the reason why the Mario or Zelda series almost refuse to advance at all. Without him leading the "STORIES ARE 4 LOOSERS GAMEPLAY IS EVERYTHING FOREVER DON'T CHANGE WHAT WORKS" we could get some really good gameplay changes and possibly even deeper and more fun stories in Mario games.
If he's heading smaller games now, then there's the rather large chance of very fun, very individual original games and the industry always needs those.
