Nice Zombie Jesus.
Zombies are particularly appealing mates though. Because they're always interested in their partner's brain and not their body!

I just finished downloading Fallout 3 from steam and am now about to play it.

BECAUSE I CLEARLY HAVEN'T BOUGHT ENOUGH GAMES OVER THE LAST FEW DAYS.

Wanted to play Black & White 2 again, so I went and found this disk.

I'm on world 5 and it's barely been a day.

Promise me you will LP this.

I would, but then I'd have to get it for PC. And my LPs suck anyway.
Well, I was definitely planning to (after I was done with the Oblivion one, of course), but when I hit "play" on that little menu that shows up when you start the game (the one that shows up before the game actually starts), I immediately get the message "Fallout 3 has stopped working".

If you excuse me I think I need to go weep in a corner for a little while.

Oh, it turned out the problem was that I needed to run Steam as an administrator so it could perform its first-time setup, which Vista wouldn't let it do otherwise.

VISTA I HATE YOU SO MUCH IF SOMETHING BAD WERE TO HAPPEN TO YOU I WOULD SAY "THAT IS GOOD I NEVER LIKED VISTA ANYWAY"

Up until the point where you realise that you're now stuck without an OS, be forced to use Linux, spend ages updating and configuring it so that it's even usable, spend even longer looking up sites for extra features and incorporating them as you see fit, and finally start thinking to yourself "Hey, the huge amount of customisability and personality this OS has is brilliant, I love Linux now!"

Up until the point where you try playing Fallout 3 on it. Which is when you realise WHY you had Windows Vista in the first place!

Fuck. Yes.

Windows: Because using it for any amount of time longer than it takes to load up a game is pure masochism.
I'm not soulless. I have plenty of souls. They're just not mine.

Win7 is pretty great and all but all I use it for is games anymore. I want to get work done, I boot into Linux.

My gaming machine has Win7 Enterprise with a few different kinds of linux in VM's.

Try playing it without using the Hand Push move on invading troops. Or dropping rocks either. It's a lot more challenging that way!

Or, for really fun times, try playing it by sacrificing each and every one of your villagers!
...actually, that probably pushes it too much into Annoying To Play territory than anything else. I forgot that the Raise Undead Army miracle is only in the expansion.

I need to get my DoW games on steam. Then I will find you.
I only play DC tho. Baldstorm won't work on my laptop.
