Ah Syobon, I've been meaning to tell you this:

It's spelled "No one", not "Noone".

1. Noone buys a PC just to play games
2. A new PC is that much more expensive for a reason, ie it's much more powerful.
3. PC gaming master race

1. Well sure. But spending $250 on an Xbox 360 and then a couple hundred for a PC that can do everything else is a monetary gain over buying the powerful PC and then assembling it. Saves time too, what with having to gain the knowledge of what parts work together, how they work, and getting everything going without conflicts.

2. Yes it is, but all it really improves is graphics and very occasionally frames. Also with PC's there's all sorts of other hassles like downloading the correct drivers, tweaking video cards to the correct specifications, occasional unexplained conflicts with a game, etc. With a console it works out of the box.

But that's part of the charm! Also if you're already buying a PC to do all the other stuff, if you add in 250$ you can probably get yourself a decent gaming PC.

All Bethesda games crash. Just a fact with them, same as the glitches.

Download the official and unofficial patches, and mess around with the settings if that doesn't help.

I don't have a "beastly" PC and Skyrim works fine.

Although it turns out the post-install hardware scan was a little optimistic.

Chip out the extra cheddar for Skyrim if you like Oblivion though, it's definitely worth it.
