DQMJ2 is really annoying now. The 'higher' monsters take a shitload of breeding, but that's nothing new since I played the very first DQM a lot. The thing which is really annoying; there is a monster I want, and I got 4 possibilities to breed it, but all of them need a monster for the fusion which needs to be fused out of any other monster from the options.
To be more precise, I want monster A, and to get it I'd need either monster B, C, D or E. Lets say I want monster B, I'd need to fuse it out of either monster A, C, D or E. Every monster from A to E needs each other to be fused, so there is absolutely no way to get them, since you already need a monster out of this line to get there in the first place.

Also, there are monsters which you can only get per numbers of wi-fi battles fought and rankings, which is a nice idea as a special reward since you can't get them trough any other way in the game, buuuuuuuuuuut some of these monsters are needed for some other fusions. So yeah, you better get high rankings and a high place, otherwise you can't complete the monster list.

So much to DQMJ2 being easier than the very first DQM.

I liked Lloyd better just because he was able to learn just how much he's fucking up very quickly. Whereas Luke is firmly stuck in his mentality a pampered rich booty despite being in enemy territory. Jade seems interesting enough, and he got the mandatory power-deleveling I knew was coming.

Still making mental "Can you hear me now?" quips anytime someone says Phone Master though. And for the Fon users I say they're "Hooked on Fonics."

well, luke doesn't really know any better. he was a pampered rich kid his whole life, he wasn't allowed in the outside world, he wasn't taught anything about it. so really he doesn't know better.

though. how far in are you, and have you beaten the game before?

Just escaped the Tartarus and made camp. And this is my first time playing. And yeah I know he's been pampered all his life, but after the first five minutes of realizing where he really is some sort of survival instincts should have kicked in, not to mention how he talks to other people.

He'll change during the story, that's always certain. But for right now I hate him.
