Madican, I'd also say pick up Star Ocean: The Last Hope and Infinite Undiscovery if you're continuing with RPGs. From the people who played it, I heard that Blue Dragon is pretty good, but I think the game was just shit

ME3 confirmed for having a mode that cuts out combat and only has dialouge and one with preset conversation choices and combat.Galaxy Man wrote:Actually they added a lot from ME2. ESPECIALLY in the choice department.BurntToShreds wrote:I'm not sure I'm going to buy Mass Effect 3. I mean, I just don't want to see how EA has utterly annihilated any kind of freedom the player has. I mean, in Mass Effect 1, there were so many customization options. In ME2, they took out so much. I don't even want to think about how much they've taken away in ME3...
For one, you can upgrade and customize weapons. There's also the point where, since this is the last game, every decision you make will have even BIGGER consequences.
You can, in fact, even alter the level of choices you want to make. Action Setting makes it so difficulty is high, but the story is set (eg no choosing what you want to say), Story makes the difficulty low but lets you chose shit, and RPG gives you a normal difficulty and the choices of Story.
Besides, ME2 didn't take away much except ludicrously dropped guns and armor. This is only a good thing because holy fuck I did not EVER need THAT many guns. Then it beefed up the actual gameplay. Pretty much all around BETTER, and ME3 seems to be trying to put in better RPG aspects while keeping good gameplay and that is like completely okay.
ME3 confirmed for followers that will die no matter what, some who die depending on you and some who'll never die.
At least you have six options for selecting a mastery.

At least it's a mode and not, like, forced.Crush Bandicoot wrote:ME3 confirmed for having a mode that cuts out combat and only has dialouge and one with preset conversation choices and combat.

Let's strip all the gameplay and just make it a text adventure while we're at it.Crush Bandicoot wrote:ME3 confirmed for having a mode that cuts out combat and only has dialouge and one with preset conversation choices and combat.
I don't know, if people actually want to use that mode, then good for them, but holy FUCK am I glad it's not mandatory.

Key word: MODE.Crush Bandicoot wrote: ME3 confirmed for having a mode that cuts out combat and only has dialouge and one with preset conversation choices and combat.
It's not mandatory. In fact, it's not even RECOMMENDED (the paths they set you on are mostly neutral/renegade so it kind guarantees a shit ending.)
So like, why complain about it? It's just there for people who don't care about the story. Yeah, they're in the wrong series but still. You're complaining about an addition you never have to use.
NOT TO MENTION, even after you pick a mode, you can CUSTOMIZE IT. Want choices in story and hard difficulty? That's fucking there. All the modes do is give you a preset if you want to just skip over that part.

No need to get hostile, I'm just wondering what kind of plebeian is playing Mass Effect and not caring about story, or alternately, gameplay.

I don't think I was at least. I mean you've pretty much got the same outlook as me on this.

Crush Bandicoot is Exeres' alt.
Re: General Game Gabbin'
Playing final fantasy one. My team consists of Bruce (lee) the monk, Link the warrior, Jesus the white mage, and Merlin the black mage. Would have done Gandalf instead of Jesus, but his name didn't fit.

It would be just like Activision to release DLC at game release.Gryewolf wrote:I swear to god this better be a DLC mission or something.
