Halo's pretty good. Gears Of War's good too. Mass Effect 2 is on PS3 but the first one is worth checking out, especially since you can transfer your character from the first to the second. The Last Remnant's a great RPG. Some of the Arcade and indie games are definitely worth a look, The Dishwasher, I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MBIES!!!1, The Beyond Good and Evil remake, and a bunch more. And that's all I got.

id definitely give all the main FPS's a try if thats your shtick. skyrim when it comes out

Waiting to get Gold until I see if it will even play nice with my router. And I'm extremely leery of FPS. They've got to have something to stand out from the pack with an engaging story. Halo and Gears of War don't cut it, I've played them before.

Skyrim definitely is on my list. I'll put down Last Remnant as well. Probably Dragon Age too and the Batman games. Anyone heard good things about Tales of Vesperia? It's a Tales game, so bonus points already, but just want to confirm.

like i said, bastion is a really good game from XBLA (you dont need gold to download it, just a credit card/paypal)

I tried it, didn't know what I was doing, but still pretty fun. I still recommend Mass Effect though, engrossing story, intense shootouts, all that jazz.

uhh mass effect 2 is on the xbox. It was released for the pc and xbox at the same time and then they took forever to port it to the ps3

Play Lost Odyssey.
Also, REZ HD and Guardian Heroes on XBLA are must-play games, in my opinion.
Edit: oy yeah, and DEFINITELY get Beyond Good & Evil. One of the greatest ganes you'll ever play.

MGS HD comes out soon.

I enjoyed Dragon Age and Dragon Age II a lot. Also LA Noire is really good.
