I would, but the game gives me terrible migraines. Unfortunately I get motion sickness easily. Which is sad since I've always wanted to play it. I couldn't even get through watching Dimm play the demo.

(hasn't played mirror's edge)

i actually found it pretty easy to relate to winston, i got a very good feel for his hatred, the characters were well developed. there weren't any "action scenes" in 1984, but everything was symbolic, i thought the overall sense of despair was well presented.

Well, at least it's a gift idea for Dimm. Also, your stream name would be funnier and more tasteless if it was called Uncle Josef's Puzzle Basement.

Just in case, for anyone who plans to read the book:

In the beginning and when he was in minilove, yeah, but it's mostly when he's with what's-her-face that I wasn't feeling very attached. They go on and on about how much they love each other and how they'll always be together even though it was stated that she had been with numerous other men before him and they're essentially using each other as a means to revolt. I think it would have been better if they didn't try to make them seem so "destined" to be together. Then again, that would make them getting separated much less significant.

And Dimm bought it a while ago, actually. He's been playing it quite a bit.

Her name's Julia.

I'd totally buy it for you if you didn't have motion sickness. Makes me sad that people have to miss out on stuff like this.

Combobreaker for Odysseys and Torizos conversation-

I was playing some more Oblivion after dinner, and I found myself walking after the footstepps of Charlie Manhuge, I'm pummeling everything to death, it's more fun then I thought in the beginning.

Aw, thanks for the thoughts, Ody. Maybe I can buy a bunch of motion sickness patches, haha. How well that would work... I have no idea.

I really need to start playing Oblivion again. Hmm...

Having to play a very co-operation-requiring mission on your own with bots = bad, learned this yesterday when playing Halo 3 ODST
Had to protect a vehicle while driving a jeep myself, with a bot on the jeep's gun
Needless to say, the bot isn't all that great at shooting, even when we're getting our asses handed to us... what could've been done in 2-3 tries with a friend, took 20 tries with a bot

Why didn't you do it the other way around?

For some reason I can handle being on a boat fairly well. I don't know why. :psyduck:
