Take it back to Japan and drop it in Fujiyama before it begins to corrupt you.
Re: General Game Gabbin'
I actually kind of miss my metallic rose DS Lite, which I traded in for my 3DS. I do have a Cobalt/black one now but man I don't even know
Re: General Game Gabbin'
My DS Lite can handle being dropped on parking lots and the such, but it can't handle opening and closing.TurboPunz wrote:Seriously, i've used my DS Lite pretty much daily, if not weekly since I got it, and I still don't have this problem. I drop it a lot too.
Do i have the one and only Nintendium DS lite???
(by a lot I mean maybe once every six months when I forget it's on the charger, then pick it up with a loose grip where it falls 3 feet to the carpet below)
Maybe this is a case of misplaced priorities. (Like a city with enough fortifications, weapons, and ammunition to hold out against a siege for years, but only enough food for a month.)

It's just terrible design.

I dropped my DS once or twice, never had a problem.
I think I may have dropped my 3DS once and it's still okay.

Re: General Game Gabbin'
I am a professional DS Lite opener and closer and my DS Lite never had a problem

Re: General Game Gabbin'
Got Baldur's Gate. For my first character I made a Halfling Thief. And I found out that by making her skin silver and her clothes green she was like a tiny Doctor Doom who can open locks and fail pickpockets before running from guards.
Stuff goes here later.
Re: General Game Gabbin'
Step aside, boys, the DS-dropper-master is here. I dropped my DS five time, my SP four times, my DS Lite once, and my 3DS four times. All from height over one foot, no breakages.

I found my brother's old PlayStation in my closet. I'm going to have to buy the cords, a memory card, and a controller but I'd like to know what games I should get for it. I think I'm going to start with the bundle Chrono Trigger is on and Chrono Cross, but I don't know where to go from there since I was a Nintendo kid growing up.

Enjoy your loading times for CT. They're terrible.Alex wrote:I found my brother's old PlayStation in my closet. When does that game need to load? Is it for the cutscenes, or are there long loading times each time you move into a different area?KevTehNev wrote:Enjoy your loading times for CT. You won't get nearly as bad as I do, because my PSX has some sort of flaw in its disc reader, but I sometimes have to wait more than a minute for a battle to load.Alex wrote:When does that game need to load? One time I died on a loading screen in FFVII because a countdown went on ticking in the 3+ minute load time for a single door.
Since this is garbled English, please refer to the brutal attack of confusion.
