SotN is fabulous and OoE will make you cry like a small child who just got their puppy stepped on. A horrible analogy, I know, but it's true.

Oh, it's amazing. It's an awesome game.
But it still stepped on my puppy when I fought that centaur thing.

I used the light glyph over and over and... I don't even remember. It was sheer pain, I just try to block those memories from ever surfacing to my conscious ever again.

I simply love the games on the DS and SotN. I have yet to try out the 3D ones, but I might give em a try some day

The only 3-D Castlevania I played was Lament of Innocence. The gameplay was actually pretty decent. But what I really, really loved was the story. I would play it just for that.
