You can't just say "Supposedly, X" if there was utterly no indication for X in the first place! You do actually need a reason why you think you can unlock non-Sega characters!

It's in here; I think it's reasonable to assume that if the PS3 version gets exclusive characters, the Wii version will too.

Although I seriously doubt that the Wii will though, since the only Wii game ever to have gotten DLC was MegaMan9, and that wasn't a retail game.
