I'm glad I shelled out the monies for this, I've been having a lot of fun with it.
Has anyone else picked this up yet?

It looks awesome, too bad I can't play it on my PSP that my friend dropped down a river or on a log or whatever.

I just got this game today. It's fun and all, but I hate how the villains don't have a story mode. And the brave system baffles me at times. It's like:
"Okay, I have like half a million brave and I'm at near-full health and he's got almost no brave and is nearly dead, this should be simp- wait, how the hell did he just break me me where the hell did all my brave go OHCRAP HE'S USING AN HP ATTACK DODGE DODGE DODGE
*Gets pretty much one-hit killed*
What just happened!"
Other than that, though, it's really good. The combat starts to feel a bit repetitive if you play it for too long at once, though.

Yeah, that just kinda... happens sometimes. Magic Pot summon is your friend, heh. Though, I accidentally just screwed myself on a boss battle with him; I had about 2500 brave, just broke the enemy's, and was about to finish him... then I hit the wrong button and copied his 3 brave over my 2.5k. FFFFFFFFF
We should, and anyone else who has the game, trade friend card things. or whatever. I haven't quite figured out how the multiplayer system works just yet, heh

Wow, Tidus is RIDICULOUSLY fun to play as. I think I've found my main.
I haven't really tried to figure out the multiplayer thing either, since I only just got the game, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
I'm really glad Square Enix decided to go with this new kind of interesting battle system instead of just making it a basic fighter, since they probably would have gotten almost as many sales anyway.
Also, the dialogue isn't nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be. It isn't the BEST dialogue ever, but I've definitely seen worse.

Tidus is one of my favorites, so far. I particularly like him, Zidane, and Terra, but I've yet to play any villains besides Sephiroth. I'm looking forward to trying Shantotto, but I'm not sure how to unlock her.
The dialogue does make me cringe at times, especially the guy who does the intro/outro speech things for each story, but it's not terrible. Nobody set anybody up the bomb or anything.
I've left the sleep mode card exchange thing on every night since I bought it, and haven't gotten anything D:
On the topic of "characters they should've added," I really would've liked to see Ramza included, but oh well~

The easiest story is Cloud's, so you should probably start with that one. It tells you how difficult each heroes story is, so you should probably go by that.

Cloud has an emo virus, though
be careful
it spreads

I've been looking forward to this game for a while now, but up untill saturday I didn't have a PSP.
Then BAM. My friend gives me her psp on Saturday for no reason other then she doesn't play it anymore.
This and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night are the top 2 games that I'll be buying when I get paid on friday.

The fact that if you're not careful after using an HP attack you opponent can easily break you and get a ludicrous amount of brave can lead to some very frustrating moments.
VERY frustrating.
Also, is it just me, or is WoL the blandest character ever?

What is up with everyone in this game and wanting to cover the world in flowers? That's a terrible dream! Aren't Final Fantasy games supposed to be known for their excellent stories?
I take back what I said earlier. Yes, the dialogue IS that bad.
