There was, but when I checked where I originally found there, they weren't there anymore... Sorry. :(

Oh, what's that? Epic Mickey isn't a dark and nightmarish game like you all thought it was? It's actually a pretty colourful and cartoonish game? Oh, and who was it that said it'd be that way from the start of the thread, hmmm?

As for morality... it depends on whether they have it so that your overall morality matters, like some sort of good vs evil progress bar, or whether they just have it so that it doesn't record how good or evil you are, just that your choice in a certain action can have direct influence on another event.

Also, I do have one close-up scan:

We all thought it would be? Really? Oh well, whatever makes you pop flyin', I suppose.

Well, judging from that scan (thanks, by the way. Looks like an interesting game so far), there seems to be a progress bar; after all, Mickey seems to change appearance depending on your actions.

But, you know, there's one thing I found to be a bit strange:

Right, excuse the double post, but I found some more scans. They're not quite as good as the one Plasma posted, but readable nonetheless.

Page 62.

63 is the one Plasma already posted.

Yes, it seems this game, like many others before it, has this whole "moral choice" theme where you can either act like a good hero or an evil jerk. No offense to the guys making it, but this idea has been played out so many times, it's actually ridiculous to see it here.
I may be forgetting, but I cannot recall a game which ever executed the "Be the good guy or the bad guy by your choices ingame" thing very well. It always felt forced.

In fact, based on Plasma's post, it sounds like yet another game where you have to deliberately play the game poorly and without skill in order to become "the bad guy." AKA, smash your way through puzzles instead of solve them, and don't collect hidden hard to find items and powerups.

...

But I do agree with the developer guy, what with the whole "Mickey Mouse has no personality anymore." Even as a child, I tended to think of Pluto, Goofy, and Donald as being much more interesting characters.

For a loose definition of 'anymore'. Mickey never really did have much of a personality. His entire thing was that he was bland enough to be relatable to by anyone.

Maybe you can relate to a short, chubby Italian plumber in overalls, but I can't really see myself eating a mushroom, jumping, punching bricks and going "HERE WE GOOOOO!"

No. They're just mute, so that you imagine yourself as them better, and so that your own personality doesn't conflict with the player character's personality (GTA4 was chewed up and spat on by that problem). Mickey does have a personality, it's just... bland.

He's the "straight man" of the group, right?

He's changed a lot over the years. But yes, that's essentially what he is now. He's supposed to be the only sane character. Which ultimately makes him uninteresting by comparison to all the people that surround him.

Judging by that scan that Plasma posted, about the scrapper and the hero, it sounds like playing as the hero will be more like Super Mario Sunshine than Okami. If you're the kind of player that wants to get everything in the game, (which is most players), you'll be filling in every single incomplete structure saving everyone, and taking as much time as possible. Hoo-rah.

A good example of how much of a booty Mickey could be back in the day:

I actually like him better like that.
