HellaJordan made Feyrhagan lol. And redeads and THAT temple scare me too.
The Wind Waker redeads don't really bug me. They just remind me of Jamaicans.

But Floormasters...

The OoT redeads freaked me out something serious at the time.
I was dreading the Wind Waker ones when I first came to the temple where they're introduced. Then I heard the sound they made and couldn't stop laughing, sounded like an elephant being perversely molested.
Remind me why the floor masters were scary?

Anyone play Conker's Bad Fur Day long enough to get to the graveyard? That's the part that made me stop playing. Then I learned the cheat to skip that whole chapter, and then I met the little girl, which also made me stop for a while... now she's my favorite boss in the game.
i like to play the graveyard level when you turn into a bat over. and over. and over. 8D
You get to shit on people, grab them, and drop them into a meat grinder! AWESOME.
Also, i like flying into the sky while facing the moon. Whoever made the moon in that game is a fucking ARTIST.

Not really nightmare scary, just panic scary. Sometimes they were just too fast for me ): My heart would start racing everytime they sank back into the floor...
Edit: OoT Redeads were AWEFUL. Hated the market so much...

Eh, I actually like escaping the mansion more. The zombies aren't nearly as scary when you realize that they're too stupid to get you when you're standing on top of the graves.
And I found myself flying straight off to the moon as well on my first time as a bat. I'll bet everyone who played did.
...OH RIGHT, NIGHTMARE FUEL UH...
Lickers from RE2. They always showed up when you least expected. Made me shit cinderblocks.

I just like being able to suddenly fly in games where you ordinarily can't. The flying mini-game in Z:TP, banjo-kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day.. stuff like that. 8D
That moon was sooo beautiful. ;-;

Simple. Take your previous sentence, then consider that they're a giant hand that pull you into the darkness. Add them together, and...

Barnacles in Half-Life and Half-Life 2. The barnacles are the things that hang on the ceilings with the tongues that get you. I am so scared of things hanging that low from the ceiling and whenever I play HL and am indoors I always make sure to check the ceiling, freak me out. I shudder just thinking about them.

That bloody invincible hand thing in the twilight realm.
It kept coming.
It kept coming.
It kept coming.
It kept coming.
It kept coming.
It kept coming.
It kept coming.
It kept coming.
It wouldn't stop.
Or Luigi's Mansion.
Christ, when I was a little younger opening those doors, and then they'd scare the living daylights out of me.
I mean, you'd expect them, you would.
But then they'd pop up, catch you unawares.
Seriously, I nearly had a heart attack.

And that sound it made whle it was flying! *goose bumps*
This isn't fuel for me, but in TWW, when you finally get to Aryll for the first time in the Forsaken Fortress. Link's all pop flyin', runs over to Aryll. Suddenly, a monstrous bird falls from the sky, grabs Link in it's mouth, and flies away!!
Meanwhile Aryll is rocking back and forth in a corner shaking. Way to traumatize the little sister.

pretty much any 3D Metriod game scares me..
also Gears of War 2 scares me. THE BERSERKER!!!! -gasp, pant-
and when I was young, those hopping eye-balled clams in Banjo Kazooie, they just kept boing-ing after you.. And the Treasure chests with teeth, they were even worse because you knew you had to get what was inside..
Luigi's mansion was also scary for a while. that is. until I battled the Bowser while playing Lindsey lohan music. now I laugh every time I am reminded of that game.
so far TP doesn't scare me. but we'll see.

That's part of the reason I didn't finish that game.
The other part? The guy in the first room of the place where you get the second sphere, well, I was TRYING TO KILL THE GUY. HE KEPT SHOOTING AT ME. -headdesk-
